               “Ihahatid ko na siya. Ikaw nang bahala, Xena.”

          I would’ve been more glad kung si Xena ang sasabay sa akin para makapag-usap kami ng maayos. Of all people who would offer me a ride, why does it has to be Savier? = u =

          Ren hugged me, I felt a smile pasted in her lips.

               “Thank you for trusting me your secret, Maryan.”

               “Thank you for not being afraid.” I whispered then she chuckled and break the embrace.

               “Afraid? Adik lang ang matatakot sa mga anghel na gaya mo, Maryan. You’re an angel despite of what you were doing. You’re my best friend.”

          She really is falling into this play. Yet, she can be a good friend if only wala kami sa ganitong sitwasyon. Well sad to state, we’re trapped with this setup forever not unless Savier dies in pure torture and hell.

          I would be glad to deliver him just that.

               “Let’s go.” Speaking of, here comes the devil.

               “Savier, take care of Maryan, ah.”

          Tinanguan lang niya si Ren. Pinauna niya akong bumaba kasunod siya. Walang nag-iimikan sa amin kahit aware kaming pareho na wala namang makakarinig sa amin. That’s until we reached his car.

               “So you didn’t come back to get me?”

          I was facing the windows, watching the streets as we pass them by.

               “No. I came back because I was forced to. I never knew I would bump into you.”

          Galing kong mag-drama. I’m the best liar ever existed.

               “I uh… didn’t know.”

          Oh sure. You don’t know anything. You just thought you do but the truth is you don’t. Isa ka kasing nagmamagaling na atribido. Akala mo lahat ng alam mo tama. Kakarmahin ka rin. Malapit na malapit na. Mag-abang ka lang, Savier Choi. Malapit na ang katapusan mo.

               “Dito na ‘yon.”

          Inihinto niya ang sasakyan. Bababa na sana ako nang hawakan niya ang kaliwa kong kamay. Napatingin ako sa kanya.
