Guys, I apologize in advance for the long chtr, but there's a lot of family drama and Spitfire drama that needed to be discussed in one chtr, that if I separated, wouldn't make much sense. Sorry ~

Artemis asked Cheshire, "What do you mean, Cheshire? You know you're invading my rights? How is the Light involved in all of this? Wasn't it destroyed?" Cheshire replied, her voice penetrating cold to the blonde's bones and blood, "Listen Artemis, you shouldn't rely on our past experiences. Everything is about to change. I know this is your place, but I'm coming to you, as a sister, to make it clear of what will happen. This world will begin to crumble. Everything you know will fall. The future is dangerous. Watch the world carefully." Artemis stuttered, "Ja-Cheshire, you aren't making any sense. Why do I need to watch the world?" The assassin replied, as she slipped into the shadows once again, "The future of everything is coming fast. Watch. Also, I guess congratulations are in order, for your marriage to West." Before Artemis had a chance to ask further questions, she found herself once again alone in the house, except for Wally, who was surprisingly still asleep. Picking up the cup again, the blonde continued to sit, drink, and think about what Cheshire's message meant. She was so unsure and uncertain that what her sister had told her would come to past, but then again, what if her sister was right? What if everything she knew and held so dear, would be taken away from her in a moment? What if Cheshire was trying to be sisterly, and the only way she knew how, was by appearing as a member of the Light, at night in her home? Deciding that whatever Cheshire meant may not have any real meaning to her yet, Artemis finished her coffee, then walked calmly back to the bedroom. She slid onto the bed, which caused Wally to turn to face her, in his sleep. Breathing a sigh of relief, when the speedster didn't waken, the blonde crawled under the covers, and moved closer to her husband. She curled her body up into his chest, and whispered, "Luckiest girl alive. Has a nice ring to it.", just as she fell off to sleep, and began to dream of pleasant things. About four in the morning, Artemis awoke to an ear piercing scream and thrashing in the bed! Her eyes jerked awake, and with a small burst of fear, she turned to face Wally, who was thrashing and vibrating uncontrollably beside her! Lighting was fraying from the speedster in huge amounts, and even in his sleep, there wasn't much the blonde could do, but try to help the best she could. In an attempt to wake him, Artemis placed a calm hand on Wally's chest, and discovered his heart beating like a hummingbird's wings, but her calm state did nothing. She whispered, trying to croon softly, "Walls, wake up.", but got a punch to the jaw. Yelping backwards, the blonde slid off the bed, resulting in a thud, which woke Wally with a start. The speedster's eyes opened, and he leapt out of bed, heading for the wall. When he was fully alert, and saw Artemis on the ground, he rushed over to her side, and helped her to her feet, saying, "Oh my gosh, Artemis! I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you?" The blonde replied, rubbing her jaw, "Nothing a little ice won't fix. I'll be fine, but what about you, Walls? Are you fine? Tell me, what was it?" Wally looked at Artemis, then said, "I-I don't know. I think it was a nightmare, but I can't be sure." Artemis replied simply, yet carefully, "Well, tell me about it. I promise whatever it was, you'll be fine." Wally sighed, "Okay. It was in the Speedforce. I was running hard, long, and fast, and there seemed to be no escape. Lightning, there was so much and it stung like fire! I saw my memories of you disappear in front of me, as well as the memories about the Team – Dick, Roy, M'gann, Conner, and Zatanna. I saw my memories fading of Barry, my parents, everyone I know and love – gone from my mind. I was so scared, and was breathing so fast. I screamed everyone's names, over and over, till I broke. Yet, no matter how much I screamed, it didn't get me anywhere. I saw Barry's death replay in my mind, as if a record, and I yelled at myself for not being there to stop the bullet, when he died. I'm the fastest speedster, and yet, I wasn't fast enough to save my uncle. I let him die. I let him and Iris down. I let the Team down. Most of all, I let myself down, for not being the hero I was made to be. Breaking down, I was crying and clawing to escape. Death came, and tried to steal me, but I refused, and man, it gave me a pain worse than the lightning. Worse than the Rogues. Worse than whatever I have felt before! Standing up, I started to run, but I was phasing, in and out, in and out, as I did when the chrysalis energy beams hit me! Blood came from my legs, and I lost grip, falling pain shockingly to the ground again. Struggling, I looked ahead, but instead of moving forward, I fell down a large, dark pit, and ended up at the bottom, dead and unable to be home with you." Artemis stared shocked, after Wally finished speaking. She moved closer to his now shaking body, and said, "That won't happen, Walls. There's nothing to fear. You didn't let the Team, Barry, Iris, or I down. You were strong. You did what you could. The memories of us all together won't die, and neither will you. I promise. We can go back to sleep." Wally replied, "Thanks Artemis, but I'm not sure I can go back to sleep after that. It gave me too much of a scare, playing Barry's final moments before my eyes. I'm going to the Watchtower to work off some of this worry with Conner or Dick, or whoever's around on patrol duty tonight, okay? You can stay here, sleep, and I'll see you tomorrow morning." Artemis watched as Wally dashed around the room, and grabbed his suit off the hanger, then headed to the bathroom, returning only seconds later, dressed in the bright red suit with the popular symbol and the whitish blue lightning belt. Pulling the cowl over his head, keeping his red hair revealed, Wally gave Artemis a brief kiss, then raced out of the room, leaving lightning straying from his body, and in the room's entrance. Artemis went to the window, and saw the speedster dash run off to the nearest Zeta-tube. She backed away, then went over to the beds, and took a seat, pulling out her phone. She entered in the password, then found the number she was looking for, under her emergency contacts. Tapping on the number, Artemis placed the cell to her ear, and breathed a sigh of relief, when she heard Dick's voice, on the other end, as he asked, "Artemis? Why are you still awake? You've got duty tomorrow morning! Get to bed!" The blonde replied, "Listen Dick, I need you to keep an eye out for Wally. He just had a nightmare scare here at the house, and raced out to the Watchtower, before I had a chance to tell him to wait. He seemed really nervous, Dick, and I think it may have something to do with his return from the Speedforce. He was shaking and vibrating violently, and when I tried to calm him down the first time, he gave me a punch to the jaw. Please, just keep an eye on him, and if it happens again, you may need restraints." Dick asked, "What did he tell you, Artemis?" The blonde replied, "He told me that he lost all his memories of us, in the nightmare. He told me he was so ashamed that he was unable to save Barry. He felt physical pain, Dick. I just can't understand why everything's happening now. He wasn't acting like this a couple months ago, when he came back." The dark haired teen replied, "But he was in state of unfamiliar territory, when he lost his memory of everyone. Artemis, his mind is still in a state of shock, even if he's in control of it by day. At night, his mind wanders, and that's when he's not in control. Although his temper is down, the fear of losing people close to him, is enough to cause problems. Now, I have a few questions for you. When the episode ended, what was his reaction to seeing you? Did he act out violently, or did he seem to gain more control?" Artemis replied, "He calmed down, and regained full control over his speed and motion patterns, as soon as I was able to touch him, and bring him back. In fact, he seemed scared that he had hurt me. Why? Is there something more?" Dick said, "We'll need to run some more tests to fully know what needs to be done, but we won't know for certain, until they are done. Now, you said he was running to the Watchtower?" "Yes, he was heading for the nearest Zeta-tube, when I last saw him, and that was about five minutes ago.", Artemis answered. The dark haired teen replied, "Good. Now get some sleep. I have to go." As soon as Dick finished, the line went dead. Artemis placed her phone back in its place, then crawled back under the covers, and turned to face the direction of where Wally's body should be sleeping, not running. Yawning, she closed her eyes, and drifted back off to sleep, this time being undisturbed by anything.
