"IS she the only one? The king chose her now he is spending time with her",Melanie fumed.

"You are eaten by jealousy,it is taking the better part of you",Jeri jin said. From the start She have always liked Nephrite, She don't hold any grudge against her.

"We have to eliminate her or else she will become Queen",Melanie continued ignoring Jeri jin.

"She is so full of herself, she no longer respect any one. She has the king favors now",Anyang said.

"I wish her dead! She thinks she is better than us,acting wise",Guinevere injected.

Jeri jin shook her head, "the more you spend time thinking about how to eliminate Nephrite the more the king finds you less attractive and her more better",she said.

Melanie glares and walk to her,"whose side are you on?",she ask.

"No one, I don't hate Nephrite so I can't hurt her. Besides none of us talked to her and she didn't do anything to me",Jeri jin said with a shrug.

"Then go to her!! Be her puppet, watch her enjoy the king to the fullest", Melanie shouted.

Jeri jin laughed, "it is better To be her puppet than your side kick!!",she shouted and walked out of Melanie quarters.

As she came out in the open square she saw Nephrite with princess kitana. Honestly she don't hold any grudge against nephrite and she don't care about the palace either. She have a lover in her kingdom.

Later that day empress Avanti went to the Karel, Nephrite' s quarters.

"Your majesty", Nephrite said standing as She bow to the empress.

"What lovely quarters",she replied and sat down.

"To what do I owe this visit, your imperial Majesty?", Nephrite ask.

Empress Avanti sniff, "the Karel is the best maiden quarters, yet you chose it", She said.

"Am sure you did not come here to compliment my quarters, your imperial Majesty", Nephrite says. Why was the empress beating round the bush?

Empress Avanti stands, "exactly I did not. I wonder what the king saw in you that made him choose you".

Nephrite grins, so this is what the visit is about? "And who do you prefer he choose?",she ask.

"No median slut is allowed on the throne!",empress Avanti said.

"And which slut do you prefer? Which female slut do you think should be queen?",nephrite asked her.

"Are you challenging me? Nephrite! It will be over my dead body you will wear that crown!",Avanti shouted.

Nephrite laughed. "Your Majesty, I might be a Median slut and yet I got chosen. Which non slut did you see near the throne?", Nephrite asked.

"You will never be queen!!", empress Avanti said. "Then it will be over your dead body!!", Nephrite added.

Empress Avanti was taken aback by the words as she raised her hands to hit nephrite. Sybil enters and stop her.

"Avanti!!,what do you think you are about to do?",Sybil asked. "If you think this median witch is going to be queen then you are wrong",empress Avanti said.

"You better stop all this your childish behaviors",Sybil warned. Empress Avanti hissed and walked out.

Nephrite sank on her seat and continued what she was doing undisturbed. Sybil stayed with her a while before going to her quarters.
