King Nebuchadnezzar aroused at the first cock crow and went down to his gold balcony and sat down.
The chill air swept through his hair and his golden cloak. The kingdom was still asleep though it shone with golden lanterns. The gold rims were wet as the early morning dew was still falling.
He stood up and walk to the west pitch area,he smile as he admired the kingdom and its contents. He was certain his parents would have been proud when they saw how he made Babylon the greatest.
The king golden orb dart gently to and fro at the quarters below his. His eyes came upon a woman bathing, the figure as graceful as swan, hips wide and thick, breast round and ripe.
He found himself swooning. The figure dipped again in his pool and he strain his eyes to see who it was.

Nebuchadnezzar smile as the figure rose again. In all glory and grace stood nephrite. His heart. Arousing desires and want for her filled his body making him warm against the chill air. He smirk and lick his lips, he wants her more than ever. Seeing her naked has aroused every emotion he had in him.

Queen Anambika and Sasimoru were both seated together drinking tea. Queen Anambika is lost in thoughts as she sipped from her porcelain.
"Her majesty is lost in thoughts"Sasimoru said in a low voice. Anambika blink and sigh.
"We have to get rid of Nephrite"she said in a folding her hands.
"Your majesty. She is well known to be the King's favorite"Sasimoru said little worry in her voice. Anambika turned shapely at the girl and glared.
"Favorite?? The king has not called her to his chambers or given her his favors. So what makes her his favorite??""Anambika shouted.
"Your majesty?.........."
"Listen to me Sasimoru! Why do you think i brought you here??? Don't think its to eat and wear precious stones. No!!!! Its to get rid of nephrite and get the king favors! So better do your job!!!!!!!"Anambika warned angry. She threw her cup across the room, Sasimoru winced as it broke with a loud crash.
"Forgive me your majesty. I did not mean to go astray"Sasimoru begged averting her eyes.
Anambika will herself calm. "Get ready the royal maidens will be going on Gbit pilgrimage. They leave at dawn you must go with them"she says.
"When do they return?"Sasimoru asked.
"In three days"Anambika lowered her voice. "You must be sure to end Nephrite life over there"she warned.
"Yes your majesty"Sasimoru bowed and walked out..............................

"Do i have to go?"Nephrite ask as Alias place the pallu shawl over her head.
"Yes your worship. Its custom demand. Its tradition"alias replied. Nephrite sigh. "Who made the tradition?"she ask again.
"It was made by the first queen. To pray for the king and the kingdom"Sybil reply entering the room.
Everyone bowed. "All the women made queen have gone through the pilgrimage, i once escorted the late queen Amtrak to pay homepage"Sybil explained.
Nephrite huff. "Is it for every maiden?"she ask.
"Yes my dear. But you must be careful Sasimoru and Melanie will be on the pilgrimage. You won't be as guarded as you are here in the palace"Sybil warn in a low voice.

Nephrite stood up to leave. Sybil hugged her and whispered, "watch out nephrite, you'll be alone with your enemies". Nephrite smile.

Outside the precision leaving for the pilgrimage were all ready. Each maidens were given three servants of her own, 30soldiers were to escort them as the king's consorts.
Foods and other necessity was carried in a lone wagon and each maiden had chariots to transverse them.
"Will the king come down?"Nephrite ask Sybil in a low voice. "Nah. He is in a very important meeting"she replied. Nephrite sigh, she wanted to see the king before she left.
They all gathered in front of the Harlan as the grandma khan stepped forward to address them.
"The royal Gbit pilgrimage is all about faith and endurance. On no condition must any of you turn back to the palace. Get to the temple offer your sacrifice. Everything you need is packed for you. Go and return in peace"she concludes dismissing them.
Each maiden mounted their chariots and the journey began, nephrite looked back at the women waving at them and sigh, she has to watch her back from Melanie and Sasimoru.
Cool music played as the king was seated enjoying the evening drinking and reading a book.
"The maidens have left your sovereignty"Sybille said bowing. "Left? And nephrite?"Nebuchadnezzar ask.
"She with them too"Sybille reply.
"For what?"he ask again.
"For the royal Gbit pilgrimage. It's customary"Sybille explains
Nebuchadnezzar nods sipping from his goblet not understanding a bit all he can pray for is that she goes and return safely because surely a lot can happen in just three days.
