Melanie walked into the royal Queen Amtrak garden. Her entourages stood behind her but at a reasonable distance. She ponder on how to ruin Nephrite her rival and worst enemy. When nephrite was asleep, she had peace and all the palace at her beck and call as second rank. But her only problem was the king who barely even notice her.
She gave her scepter to her chief maid Lupe then fan herself with a red feather hand fan with pearl on the edges. Melanie paced the garden to and fro.
She needs to bring Nephrite down even if it cost her crown. As she sat down she sighted nephrite walking through the west wing gate. Her anger increased and she walked to her.
"I see you are back on your feet?",Melanie ask with scorn as she approached nephrite. Each maidens servants bowed.
Nephrite smile. "Am hale and hearty as you can see",she replied.
Melanie faked her smile. She wished Nephrite had died in her three days sleep. "The palace was worried about you".
Nephrite laughs, "please cut the chase, Melanie. Stop acting like you care! You are not good at lie in fact you are horrible!!", Nephrite snaps.
Melanie grin. "Well at least I show concern and......".
"Keep it yourself Melanie. No one asks for your sympathy. You are the last person on my list that I would ever worth about",nephrite cut her short.
"Then perhaps that shows why you would take a princess jewelry?",Melanie ask. She smile when she saw that her word had effect on nephrite.
Nephrite frown, why was Melanie bringing up the theft issues? She was well aware that the whole palace thinks her a thief. She just wished Melanie didn't bring it up. Nephrite was about to respond when all the servants bows at something behinds her. She turns and find the empress behind her she also bows.
