"Its about the king summoning lady Nephrite to grace him"a maid answers. Grandma turns to Sybil smiling. "It seems like our nephrite gotten some sense"she say and Sybil laughs.

All the maidens are gathered together as the empress demanded their attention.
Empress Avanti walked glaring at each maiden with disdain, she and Melanie gave a knowing smile. "Thanks for coming"she said looking around.
"Now i know stressful it has been lately so i have ordered tonic be brought in"she announce. The door open and five servants brought in the tonic.
"They relieve stress"she say.
Everyone drank theirs but Nephrite was hesitant. Avanti went to her. "Why ain't you drinking?"she questioned.
"Because i don't know what it is"Nephrite replied with a straight face.
"I said its stress relieving.............".
"No need to sugar mouth it"Sybil cut her short entering the chambers. They bow. "You are giving them tonic in place so they wont get pregnant for the king?"Sybil say.
The maidens gasp and held their throat, how foolish they are! Empress Avanti glares at Sybil and face nephrite
"Drink".
"You dare not!"Sybil say.
"You dare not disobey me!"
"Don't dare drink it Nephrite!"
Nephrite picks up the cup and raise it to her lips. Empress Avanti smile, Sybil looked horrified.
To her delight Nephrite poured the drink at the empress feet.
"How dare you?".
"Drinking this is disloyalty to the king and i serve only him"nephrite said in a mocking voice. Sybil smile while the empress frown, she must act fast. .............................

Two days later...................
Asjink, sigma and Talhum enters lady nephrite antechamber. "Your grace"they bow.
"Any news?"she ask hopefully.
"Yes your grace. I followed the servant and you won't believe what i found"sigma say with excitement.
"What?"alias ask.
"She had a hand in the theft! Though she didn't do it alone she had the help of a consort"sigma report.
"What????"nephrite couldn't believe her ears. In wildest dreams she never thought a consort would ever do this.
"Send her to me but let it be discreet"Nephrite commands. "Yes your grace!"Talhum and sigma bow their way out.
Elma was dragged into nephrite quarters completely blindfolded. Sigma remove the folds and Elma knelt as she saw Nephrite.
"Your grace?"she ask surprised.
"I want you to tell me the truth and i promise to spare your life"nephrite promised.
"I don't understand"the maid say confuse.
"I know you hid the jewelry in my quarters but i want to know who sent you"nephrite said again. Elma afraid starts sweating and fidgeting.
Nephrite bends to her eye level and say. "I can save you the pain of burning or being cut to pieces"she whispers.
