Nebuchadnezzar is seen with his Niece kitana. They were inside the jewelry room. Nebuchadnezzar wanted to give his niece a present for the crescent festival tomorrow.
"Pick anything you want",he tells her. Kitana had a hard time picking because everything in the room was precious and too beautiful.
Finally she picks a golden necklace. "Nice choice, it is the newest jewel found in the epic mountain",he explains to her. Kitana nods and smile at the necklace. It really was beautiful. She planned to wear it tomorrow at the festival.
"Won't you pick something for your betroth?",kitana asked. Nebuchadnezzar thought for a second. Maybe he should, "do you know what she wears?",he ask kitana. Kitana nods and pulls him back to the beginning of the section.
Kitana sat in her room and examined the necklace carefully. She really loved it a lot. She was busy smiling foolishly at it when she heard her mother calls.
"Coming mother!!", this time kitana stood up and ran out, her mother rarely uses her full name but when she does it shows she is very angry.
As kitana run out, elma enters. She quickly ran for the princess jewelry case. She needs to be fast or else she will get cut.
Elma searched thoroughly for a jewelry that is good enough. Her eyes fell on the jewelry on the table, not only was it expensive it was also precious and the newest model given by the king. Satisfied elma runs out to nephrite's room.

Nephrite and her entourage were taking a walk round the royal gardens. Nephrite was admiring nature as alias told her funny stories of the servants.
Melanie on the other side was on her way to the empress quarters when she saw nephrite, she became angry. Imagine nephrite walking like she is Queen already.
"We meet again, Nephrite of media",Melanie said. The servants of each maidens bowed.
"The pleasure is not mine", Nephrite said.
"Oh but it is a pleasure to see you again, tomorrow you will become an imperial Majesty or......
"Stop all this charade Melanie!! Please cut short to the story",nephrite said.
"Don't forget the Babylonian proverb that says no one plays with a tiger's tail and survive without getting bitten by it",Melanie warned.
Nephrite laughed, "and please tell me who is that tiger? You?"-she laughed again- " please Melanie, don't forget the man who takes a horse to the river never forces it to drink",she advised.
"You are biting more than you can chew,nephrite of media",Melanie warned. "Well Melanie of Greece, chew alongside me!", Nephrite teased causing the servants to laugh silently.
As Melanie was about to answers, the king head eunuch Dokman interrupts. "Your grace",he greets referring to nephrite.
"Yes, how may I help you?",she asked.
"The king ask me to give you these as a little crescent gift", he said and pointed at the servants holding jewelry boxes. Nephrite gasped.
"All these for me?",she asked. Eunuch Dokman nods. "Thank you",she said as she leads him to her quarters. Melanie eyes grew green with jealousy. The king gave nephrite gifts. He didn't even send a handkerchief to her.
"What a peacock", her head servant Fukuoka said. Melanie glared at her then hissed as she hurried to the empress quarters.

"You have seen the jewelries the king gave....",Melanie was cut short when she saw grandma Khan inside the room with the empress. She shut up as the Empress glares at her.
"What is going on?",she asked.
"The jewelry uncle gave me early this morning is gone,I placed it on the table before I left. But now its gone!!!",she wailed.
"Don't worry kitty, it will be found",grandma khan said. Kitana refused to be comforted.
"What if it was stolen?", Melanie ask.
"What do you mean?",grandma khan asked. "Am saying, what if the necklace was stolen? I mean the necklace can't walk or fly someone have to take it",Melanie explained.
"Why will anyone try to steal the necklace?",kitana asked. "You know jealousy",Melanie says.
"Let the whole maiden quarters and Harlan be searched, if the jewelry is not found then I will report to the king",grandma khan ordered. Immediately the search commenced. The guards searched each rooms.
Every maidens quarters was not left out as they searched thoroughly for the jewelry.
Nephrite was in her room admiring the jewelries the king sent to her for tomorrow use. She smile. When was the last time such was sent to her?
Alias runs into the inner room to call her mistress, "your grace your chambers is being searched!!".
Nephrite stood up shocked. "What??".
The two women runs out to the outer room. Melanie stood there glaring at nephrite as she came out.
"What is the meaning of this. Melanie!!", Nephrite demanded.
"Oh its not me. Grandma khan has ordered the search of every maidens room",Melanie said smiling. Nephrite swore she wanted to slap the smile off.
"What for?",she asked again. "We are looking for a thief! Someone stole the princess kitana jewelry"-Melanie narrows her eyes-"if I were you I would pray it's not found here!",she laughs.
Nephrite sighs with great anger. "Search the room, every corner and inch. Leave no part unturned!!",Melanie instructed.
The guards set to work. They scattered every room. Nephrite winced as they broke her vases, her plate. Melanie smile and enjoyed the sight. She was really happy that nephrite room was being scattered. She was so jealous of the fact that nephrite got the best room in the palace.
After an endless search and scattering a guard shouted. "I found it!!".
"What???", Nephrite shouted
Melanie shocked. She never thought the necklace was in Nephrite room. "My my! You stole the princess jewelry. After everything the king gave you. I should have known you medians Are never satisfied!! Thieves! Bloody thieves!!",she said happy.
Nephrite shook her head, how did the necklace get there? How! Her eyes became filled with tears. Just then empress Avanti came in.
Words have already gone round the Harlan that the necklace was found in nephrite's room. Sybil also came running in.
"So you are the thief?",empress Avanti asked.
Sybil pushed forward. "Tell me its a lie! Nephrite!! Talk to me!!". Tears already was dropping from her eyes. If nephrite really was the thief she would be thrown out of the palace. Nephrite too shocked couldn't say a thing.
Empress Avanti smile. Whoever that planted the necklace in nephrite room surely have done the work for her. She signalled Melanie and walked out.
She won't go to grandma Khan but straight to the king........
