Great king of Babylon. Only son of King Amherst and Queen Amtrak. Handsome, wise and patient, in love and later married to Nephrite. Grandson of Grandma Khan, nephew to both Empress Avanti and Queen Anambika. Cousin of Princess Atalanta.
SYBIL, CHIEF DUAL OF BABYLON.
Wife to sybille and chief dual of the Harlan. In charge of choosing a bride for the king. Liked Nephrite and helped her become Queen. Took care of the king when he was a child. Sometimes refers to him as her son and he his aunt.
SYBILLE, HEAD LF KINGS EUNUCH AND PERSONAL ADVISOR.
Husband to Sybil, the king personal advisor and head of his eunuch, believed Nephrite would become queen and indirectly helped her through his wife.
EMPRESS AVANTI, EMPRESS DOWAGER OF PERSIA.
Younger sister to the late Queen Amtrak,Mother of Atlanta. Hates Nephrite from the day she saw her. The king's aunt. Melanie's Ally until betrayed by her and sent back to her kingdom.
KAGOME KHAN JHANSI JIN KYRIE, AKA GRANDMA AND
Grandmother to the king and princess Atalanta. Wife to the late king Nabopollasar and mother of late king Amherst. Trained Nebuchadnezzar as a child and ruled Babylon till he became of age. Liked Nephrite when she saved her life.
PRINCESS ATLANTA AKA KITIANA.
Daughter of empress Avanti, granddaughter of Grandma Khan and cousin of King Nebuchadnezzar but refers him as Uncle. Friend of Nephrite.
QUEEN ANAMBIKA, QUEEN OF SYRIA.
Sister of late king Amherst, daughter of Grandma khan and king Nabopollasar. Wicked queen of Syria who wants power and tried to kill Nephrite through the maiden she brought to the palace. Believed to have killed her husband to become queen. Later sent away be the king
TAOFLAT, PRIME MINISTER OF BABYLON.
Prime minister since the days of king Amherst, murdered the late king and sacrificed the late Queen. Banished the high priestess to hide his deeds. Secretly tried to poison the grandma Khan on her birthday, responsible for the death of Asjink.
PRINCESS MELANIE OF GREECE,LATER PRINCESS OF BABYLON
Nephrite arch enemy, proud yet beautiful. Puppet of empress Avanti before betraying her. Daughter of king Stanley of Greece. Poisoned Nephrite and blamed it on the empress. Believes the crown as Queen is hers.
PRINCESS JERI JIN OF CANAAN, LATER 1ST RANK CONSORT
Never interested in the palace life, has a lover in her kingdom. Secretly like Nephrite and later goes to her for help. Gentle and peace loving. Later set free by king when she saved Nephrite life.
PRINCESS GUINEVERE OF GIDEON.
Set up Nephrite with the help of two servants, loves jewelries and material things. Later banished by Nephrite.
PRINCESS ANYANG OF AMMON.
Did not play much role, was named consort of 5th role, always by herself.
SASIMORU
Brought to the palace as a gift for the king by queen Anambika, tried to kill Nephrite by stabbing her and pushing her off the cliff. Later thrown in the burning furnace as punishment.
ALIAS, CHIEF LADY-IN-WAITING
Chief lady in waiting of Nephrite, brought with her when she came to Babylon. Loyal and faithful to Nephrite through thick and thin.
SIGMA AND TALHUM.
Personal bodyguard of Nephrite, both rescued by the princess once. Sigma when she was almost sold to slavery, Talhum when he was almost killed for stealing from her. Both pledged their life to her.
ASJINK, ADVISOR TO THE KING.
Saved Nephrite life when she almost died in the wilderness. Later rewarded as an advisor but was blackframed by Taoflat when he found out he killed the late king and plans to kill the king. Killed in the coliseum,father of Lada and Lilith.
LADA AND LILITH, WARDS OF NEPHRITE.
Twins daughter of Asjink,later wards of Nephrite after she saved their life from being sold to whore houses.
ASHIWAYARAI, HIGH PRIESTESS OF ISHTAR
High priestess who sent visions to Nephrite in form of dreams, banished by Taoflat when she learnt his secret, but later returned on Nephrite coronation day after Nephrite begged her to.
NEBUZARADAN, CHIEF COMMANDER OF BABYLON ARMY AND HEAD OF THE IMMORTALS.
Nebuchadnezzar personal bodyguard and commander of Babylon army. Nebuchadnezzar trusted soldier.
THE IMMORTALS.
A group of seven swore soldiers, sworn and trained from birth to protect the king till they die.
GUNGHI, HEAD PHILOSOPHER.
Philosopher of Babylon, learned. Part of the team to pick wife for the king.
ELMA AND JOSE.
Siblings framed into blackmailing Nephrite by planting the Jewelry in her room and finding it. Later revealed the truth and sent away as free people.

Mother of late Queen Amtrak, Empress Avanti and Queen Ashanti. Came for the wedding and coronation. Grandmother of Nebuchadnezzar.
