[Mason]I smile as I look down at the message from Matt.
She's going to the dance, you're welcome
Next step was to find a tux.
[Aria]
I search through the endless racks of sparkly dresses not finding anything worthy of trying on.
"Hey is this cute?" Kris walks out of the fitting room wearing a light sky blue chiffon dress that had long sleeves made of lace. It was gorgeous on her.
"Yes!" I shriek demanding her to purchase dress. She walks back into the room and I head towards another rack instantly seeing something.
It was a plain burgundy off the shoulder dress which flared at the bottom. I loved it since I wasn't a fan of crazy things when it came to dressing up. I remove the dress from the rack and scurry into the dressing room.
I twirl around in front of the mirror feeling satisfied with how it looked.
I walk out into the waiting area where all the girls were seated.
"Oh. My. God." The three say in unison.
"I like it," I smile down at the dress.
"It's perfect!" Madison cheers. I turn around and walk back into the dressing room deciding this was the one.
[Madison]
Aria was going to look stunning. I text Matthew with the information about her dress color so he'd inform Mason.
After paying for all of our dresses we walk out of the shop and make our way to the Starbucks down the street.
I insist on buying everyone's drinks just because I was in a good mood. We all order and I hand the barista my card.
"Now we just have to buy shoes!" Kris squeals and we all agree to go shoe shopping next week after Thanksgiving.
[Aria]
Thanksgiving was next week and Mase wouldn't be here. He'd always come over for dinner with his mother. I guess this year would be different.
As if on cue, my phone begins to flash with his name and picture across the screen. I answer trying to appear as if nothing was wrong.
"Hey babe," I speak trying to lace happiness into my voice.
"Hey what's wrong?" He asks noticing my mood right off the bat. I couldn't help but smile at how well he knew me.
"Nothing, I just miss you that's all," I admit.
"I wish I could be there with you Ar," he sighed. "But at least I'll see you in 3 weeks."
"Yeah, I can't wait," I reply, feeling a bit better. We continued talking until I realized it was 12am and I had school today. He let me go promising to call me later and I smiled hanging up after.

When I walked into Biology, Ethan was already occupying the seat next to mine.
"Hey, Aria." He said cheerily, flashing me a smile.
"Hey..." I shoot him a skeptical look. Ethan wasn't exactly the cheery type and people were only this type of cheery when they needed something.
"Do you need something?" I question.
"Can't I just say hi without you questioning me?"
"No, I guess there's nothing wrong with that." I say as I grab my notebook and pen from my backpack.
