[Mason's POV]I groaned as the obnoxious sound of my alarm echoed through my room. I lazily rolled out of my bed and entered the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I flinched as the light stung my half asleep eyes.
I turned on the shower and hopped into the cold water.
I got out, wrapping a towel around my lower half and heading to my room to get dressed.
I quickly pick out a pair of black jeans, a white T-shirt and a black jacket. After spraying some cologne and applying some deodorant, I put on my black Adidas Superstars and make my way downstairs.
I spot my mom sitting at the kitchen island, her laptop and files sprawled across the surface which meant she was working on a case. I quickly kissed her goodbye, trying not to distract her, and walked out the door.
[Aria's POV]
I woke up and commenced my usual bathroom routine.
I chose some black skinny jeans with a dark green t-shirt and my pair of black Yeezys.
I jogged down the stairs and into the kitchen greeting my mother who was making breakfast.
My phone dinged with a message from Mason saying he was outside. I grabbed my bag and made my way out the door.
"Good morning," he greeted with a smile. I replied with the same and kissing his lips as I entered the car.
"I picked you up a vanilla latte and a glazed donut ," he said looking through the rearview mirror and pulling out of my driveway.
"Aw thank you," I cooed, taking a bite of the donut and giving him a bite while he drove.
We arrived and went to our lockers soon being greeted by our group of friends. I went to the bathroom with Kris leaving Mason behind.
"Hey Kris?," I started, something coming to mind.
"Yeah?" She answered touching up her lipstick.
"Do you know who Ethan Owens is?"
"The Ethan Owens?" She gasped. "He's the hottest guy in school and also the biggest player," she gaped.
"I've never heard of him," My eyebrows raise as I chuckle.
"He plays on the basketball team," she explains. "Captain to be exact."
My lips formed an O in realization. Mason and his friends all played on the football team. Both sports teams have held a feud since freshman year.
"Is he popular?" I asked, curiously.
"Duh!" She shrieked earning a laugh from me.
"Well whatever, I've seen him and I've seen better," I say amused.
"Obviously! You're dating Mason Edwards," she pointed out to which I nodded proudly.
"Speaking of, how are you and Mason dealing with the whole moving issue?" she asked now applying another coat of mascara to her already long and luscious lashes. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to what she had said.
