Mason and I arrive at the very luxurious restaurant and are soon taken to the table that he had reserved ahead of time.

The dim dining area was nearly full with the exception of a few tables. We took a seat and ordered our drinks while we talked about our plans for tomorrow.

Mason reached over the table, grabbing my left hand and interlocking it with his. He smiled at the sight of the new engagement ring that wrapped around my finger. I felt bad for throwing the last one across the hotel suite in New York, but I had my reasons.

Our drinks arrived and we placed our entree orders before resuming our conversation.

This place was beautiful. We had been here several times before, but I'd say the most important was the first time we came.

It was the night Mason told me he loved me for the first time.

"So," he spoke up, stopping the both of us as we walked to the car. Mason had brought me out to dinner to celebrate our three months which I thought was a bit too much, but he insisted.

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now." He grabbed my hand in his and I suddenly began to grow nervous.

"Okay."

"Well since the day I met you, I thought you were beautiful and I knew I wanted to date you. But I knew that asking you out was a bit weird considering we didn't know each other. So I became your friend first and we've been friends since I can remember."

"Mason where is this going?"

"Just hear me out," he says. "I did everything I could to get you to like me, and I was lucky enough to actually succeed. But this entire time we've been dating, I've been dying to tell you that I love you. I've loved you since the seventh grade, and although you may not feel the same yet it's-"

I cut off his rambling by pressing my lips up against his. I swear this boy drove me crazy. After a minute I pull away, seeing the big smile that was now on his face as he stared into my eyes.

"I love you too."

I'm snapped out of my memories when the waiter returns with our entrees. We thank him before digging into our meals in a comfortable silence.

After eating, we decided to head home. Mason managed to snatch the bill before I had the chance and took care of it while I waited next to him, a pout etched on my face.

"Oh shoot," I remember as we begin to walk out through the glass doors. "I left my phone at the table."

"I can get-"

"No it's fine I got it, I'll meet you outside." I leave Mason and return to the table we were seated at, seeing my phone still where I had left it. I turn to walk back to the entrance before I notice who is seated at the table by the wall.

Ethan sat with a wide smile on his face as he laughed along with some girl whose face I couldn't see. All I could see was her curly hair and body which was stunning. Ethan's eyes focused on her as she spoke to him and an unsettling feeling appeared in my stomach.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about Ethan these last two weeks. He was that thing that never seemed to leave my mind. I felt guilty, and even though I was with Mason, I couldn't help but think of what things would be like if I would have chose to go after Ethan that night at my house.

I begin to feel uneasy seeing him with that girl, and I begin to walk to where Mason was waiting for me until Ethan's eyes find mine and I stop in my tracks. His face is unreadable, and he doesn't seem fazed by my presence because he turns back to the girl, continuing their conversation.

I feel a slight pain in my chest at his reaction and I walk away completely, finding Mason's car and getting in.

"What took you so-" I cut Mason off by pulling his collar towards me until his lips were on mine. He didn't question me and instead responded by kissing me back. Any feeling of jealousy from seeing Ethan with that girl had temporarily settled.

I pulled away, my breathing heavy just like Mason's. He stared at me, surprised at my sudden actions before kissing me again. The temperature began to rise inside the car as we continued to kiss and his hands found their way to my hips, pulling me over the gear shift so that I was seated on his waist.

His lips found my collarbone and he began to suck on the exposed skin there, leaving them red and noticeable. I pulled his head closer to mine, biting in a moan as his hand traveled down between my thighs.

He looked up at me and I slightly jump when I see Ethan's face instead of Mason's. I imagine that the guy I'm kissing is Ethan, and I know it's wrong, but I can't control it. My mind is soon taken over by memories of the night at my house. I remember the way Ethan's soft, plump lips felt against mine and how I didn't want that kiss to stop.

I remember every other kiss we've ever shared and the way he's made me feel each time. There were no words to describe the feeling, I just knew it was something I wish I could feel all the time.

I then begin to remember what had happened just minutes ago. The girl he was with. The way he just ignored that I was there. My body heats up in frustration and maybe anger and I pull away from Mason.

He looks at me worriedly and I can tell that he was being cautious in order to not make me feel uncomfortable.

"Let's get married." I say and his eyes widen at my unexpected words.

"Married?" He reiterates. "Now?"

"No, not now." I laugh. "This summer. Before school starts."

"But I thought you wanted to wait until after your sophomore year?" He reminds me and I nod.

"I changed my mind."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," I let out a breath. "It's starting to seem like you don't wanna marry me," I sigh.

"No, I do!" he defends. "I just want you to be sure about this."

I kiss him one last time, this time feeling him smile as his lips moved against mine.

"I'm sure."
