I woke up to the sound of light snores. I looked up and saw Mason peacefully asleep with his arms wrapped around me. I stared up at him, acknowledging his facial features. His long eyelashes, perfect eyebrows, sharp jawline, and full lips. I rested my head against his chest, my hand tracing over the tattoo he had there.I remember the day he got this last year. His mom was freaking out until she realized the meaning behind it.
Mason's tattoos had a meaning and this one happened to be for me.
It was the day he gave me my promise ring and promised he would one day replace it with a wedding ring.
The memory brought a smile to face and I placed a kiss ok Mason's cheek.
He began to stir in his sleep and I stopped my actions so I wouldn't wake him up. I managed to reach for my phone, unlocking it and answering all the messages I had from friends and my mom.
"Good morning," Mason's raspy voice sounded throughout the room. I turned to him smiling and pecking his cheek. I stood up from the bed and headed to the bathroom.
Mason walked in while I brushed my teeth and wrapped his arms around my waist placing his head in the crook of my neck. I stared at us in the mirror and chuckled at the height difference between us.
"I love you," he blurted causing my heart to flutter.
" And I love you."

We were both on the couch scrolling through our phones until Madison came into the room.
"Ar we found a beautiful spa that we wanna go to. You down?"
I turned to look at Mason who shrugged his shoulders as he sipped his orange juice. I didn't want to leave him here alone knowing it was his last week.
"Is it okay with you?" I asked.
"Why are you asking me?" He chuckled. I turned towards Madison taking that as a yes and nodding my head. She jumped in excitement as she walked to the fridge.
Suddenly, Alex barged into the room in his plaid pajama pants and t-shirt.
"Mason we are spending some time together today no exceptions. This is your last week with me," he demanded seriously.
"Dude I'm his best friend so back up." Matthew entered behind him punching his arm. "And yeah bro come one we haven't done anything together this whole week, no offense Ar," he whines.
"None taken," I shrug laughing out how clingy they both are when it comes to Mason.
"Well I'm the one who bought him Subway the other day so I guess you've been replaced," Alex spoke up still holding the area Matt had punched but this time with a victorious grin on his face.
Mason laughed at the both of them agreeing to go out. Matt kissed Madison goodbye before the two turned around walking out the door.
"I bought him his favorite waffles though," Matthew mumbled as he pushed Alex out the door.
Mason kissed me goodbye before leaving to his room to get ready. I walked into Kris's room where Maddy and Stephanie sat on the bed on their phones.
"Wow look who decided to show up," Stephanie looked up from her phone. I couldn't help but feel bad. I hadn't really spent anytime with them since the first day here.
"I'm sorry guys," I said sincerely. "It's just Mason's last week and all," I began to rant before Kris cut me off.
"Ar we're just messing with you," she smiled. "We understand you've been wanting to spend as much time as you can with Mason before he leaves."
