Chapter 10

I laid in the hospital bed, my wrists were bandaged and I had an IV in for fluid. I blinked at the bright light above me as I woke up. I turned my head to find Lindsey asleep in the chair next to the bed. His hair hung in his eyes and his mouth was slightly opened, I giggled to myself wondering where Stevie was.

The door cracked open and a nurse came in, she checked my bandages and IV. She smiled down at me, "He's been here all night you know." I nodded, "Yeah he's a friend of mine. Where's everyone else?"

She pushed her hair behind her ear, "The older couple were sent home by the little blonde, she's sleeping in another hospital bed in a spare room." I smiled, "Thank you." The nurse nodded before leaving the room with a smile. I stared at the ceiling, reliving what had happened earlier today. I cringed at the thought, boy did I regret this. I regretted causing them so much pain and horror, I was too much trouble.

Lindsey started to stir in the chair, covering his hands over his eyes and pushing his hands up his forehead through his curls. His eyes flickered around the room before looking down at me. He smiled, giving my bloody hand a squeeze.

"How are you feeling?" Lindsey asked softly. I shrugged, "Alright, what about you?"
He sighed, leaning closer to the bed. "Promise me you won't do this again Em." I nodded, "I promise, I'm sorry." Lindsey wiped the tear off my cheek, "Its alright, just remember I'm here okay? If you don't want to talk to Steph or Jess or Barb just come to me."
I smiled softly, "Okay."
