*3rd Person POV*
Hange looked at the man beside her. Energy seemed to pour off her in waves as she excitedly bounced in the saddle and said "Shadis even has a Second in Command Shorty!! You should have seen her in action she was so amazing!!" The man that rode beside her had short black hair styled in an undercut. He faced her and said "Shut up Shitty Glasses. We're supposed to move in silently." But Hange just continued to babble excitedly about Shadis's Second in Command. "And then she moves so fast that she still caught him while he was down! Just like that!" she said excitedly pointing towards the shadows like a child.
"Like what Shitty Glasses?" the man demanded coldly. "She moved just as fast as that shadow over there" Hange said excitedly at the flying shadow once more. The man sped up his horse only to suddenly use his 3DMG gear. But still he couldn't keep up with the figure's speed and ended up losing him. The man dropped down to the ground and remained quiet. Hange finally arrived and just as she was about to ask what happened the man shot her a deadly glare. She shut her mouth and waited silently beside him. After what seemed like hours the figure suddenly reappeared holding a smaller figure.
When the figure took off both the man and Hange followed. Then once again the figure vanished leaving behind a frustrated unhappy male and a puzzled female. They went back for their horses only to suddenly come face to face with the figure they had been chasing. The man pulled out his blades ready to fight and the figure followed. The man attacked first and the figure blocked the attack with one of it's blades. As they fought the clash of metal rang in the night. Suddenly the figure seemed to make a mark in the grass, something the man didn't fully understand but took notice of.
They continued to fight until the man made a swipe at the figure. The man instantly knew that he had cut into flesh, but was immediately surprised by the figure's next attack. The figure kicked a blade out of the man's hand then sent a left hook punching the mad in the face making him stumble. Then the figure ran taking one of their horses, and riding away in the other direction. Hange had a worried look on her face as she said "Erwin's going to be so mad at the loss of one of our horses. But I wonder why the Phantom took it to begin with."
The man suddenly spotted something shiny in the middle of the road. He walked over and pushed it over with the toe of his boot, before picking it up with a handkerchief and said "Everyone knows that if a gas canister is lost than the gear is unable to operate and is considered useless." Immediately the canister was ripped out of his hands as Hange was once again filled with hyper energy. "I can't wait to find out how the Phantom was so fast. I can't wait to discover his secret!!" Hange shouted as she lovingly rubbed the dirt covered canister. The man shuddered in disgust before sending her another glare, before he looked at the only horse they had. The man sighed and said "Shitty Glasses I'll meet you at Shadis's after I purchase another horse."
Hange nodded and took off in the same direction as the figure as the man walked off to find another horse.
