~*Several Days Later*~

After the incident it became amazingly easy to avoid everyone including Hange to her major disappointment. But at times during my exercises I felt that I was being watched. Only to look around and find no one there. It was during my balancing when I finally discovered who it was that was watching me. I had been sitting cross legged balancing on a log with rocks on my hands and knees, and on my head. I had closed my eyes to find better balance, but when I opened them I found Levi standing there just watching me. His gaze like liquid silver as he tried to figure me out, his eyes turning cold, hard and intimidating when he found me watching him.

I gave him a nod then closed my eyes again. But soon I felt a shift in the air and immediately shifted my body, when my eyes opened again I saw a blade resting near my hip. The blade gently pushed up my shirt to reveal the bandages I had wrapped around the stitches to protect the stitching I had done a few days ago. "I see that you wisely used the things provided for you. But I cant help but notice that you and the Phantom have matching wounds Brat. Interesting coincidence isn't it?" he said coldly. "As I explained to Petra it was a training accident. During my training with the other Cadet's I was accidently sliced, the Cadet apologized profusely in front of the other trainee's. If you don't believe me you can ask Shadis, especially since he was there and witnessed the accident" I said narrowing my gaze at his implied suggestion.

When he gave me a cold calculating gaze I met his look, and he left. Several hours later I came back and found him watching me again. I walked up to him and in front of the others said "If I haven't snuck out already, I'm not planning on it. I'm tired of people watching me like I'm some kind of criminal. I don't know how the blue prints got in my room, and personally I don't want to know. So either kiss me or hit me, but for god's sake will you stop watching me!!" Then suddenly the doors burst open and a swarm of MP's filled the room. I was roughly pushed out of the way as the others stood in front their blades drawn.

"We're here to collect the Phantom to receive trial" spat a man who wore an emerald necktie. "Tch she isn't the Phantom Nile Dok, whoever you informant is got it wrong" Oulo said his look cold and indifferent. Then Nile's eyes landed on me as he smiled and said "I believe my informant was correct. You found blueprints in her room that match the canister collected at the crime. As far as I'm concerned she's the Phantom and you've been aiding and abetting a wanted criminal. So hand her over and I'll consider not telling the judge about the Scouts unnecessary involvement."

"The Phantom isn't here damn it. Do you really think we'd bring the criminal here?" Eld demanded standing up for me. My eyes misted as he stood there defending me even though he didn't know me that well. I went to scrub a hand across my face to hide the fact that I was near tears and froze when Nile said "That's exactly what you did." He lifted his hand, pointed at me and said "You brought HER here. I'd recognize that mark anywhere, she may not be the Phantom but she is an escaped slave from Wall Maria." "Tch we questioned her before bringing her here" Levi said harshly.

Nile laughed and said "And I'm betting that the reason you haven't been able to connect her to the Phantom is because she hasn't told you everything she knows about him. Either way she's coming with us, she has no choice." Levi faced me his icy cold eyes on me as he demanded "Is that true?" I nodded and said "Erwin asked if I had ever heard of him, I said yes because it's the truth. He also asked me if the Phantom was a friend of mine, but we're not friends so the answer I gave was also true. Nothing more was asked after that." "And you didn't offer up anything else" Levi sneered. I met his gaze and said "If I was never asked why would I?" I looked away from his gaze and walked towards the MP's. As they clamped manacles around my wrist's I offered no resistance. When they started leading me out a hand clamped down on my shoulder. Looking over my shoulder Levi's steel gray eyes searched mine and I gave him a sad smile and shrugged out of his grip as they pushed me out the door.
