(Jonathan POV)

"You made it look so easy Jonathan, I don't know how you did it."

Peter complains as I talk to him over the phone while sipping my delicious American coffee before it get's cold.

"It's only a step above what you're already doing Peter." I remind him and take another sip.

"I know but I just wasn't expecting this. How long are you going to be over there for?" He asks and I yawn.

"I dunno, A few months, maybe a year or two, Nothing too crazy. I kind of like it here, it's very..."

I look over at Ashley and AJ attempting to skate together in the kiddie circle.

"Relaxing,"

I admit and I can hear Peter groan.

"You know you can always call me if you need help and if things start to go under I'll fly over immediately. But we've built the company so high it practically runs itself with some touch-ups here and there." I tell him.

He breathes out a sigh of relief.

"But don't overdo it. Make sure you go home at the end of the night. Joseph and the kids need you." I add.

"I know, I will. Don't worry about me, you just need to get some well-deserved time off. You were burning out when you were here so I'm glad to hear you're doing well and healing."

He says, I hold in a small laugh as I watch Ashley fall flat on his face. AJ goes to help him up but both of them fall and burst out laughing.

"Yeah, healing is a good word for it." I sigh.

I hadn't seen AJ laugh like that in quite a while.

And then there was Ashley.

For some reason, I keep thinking about how it feels to have him close to me, the touch of his skin against mine, those times when he's sleeping and his feet end up feeling my legs for warmth.

I want him closer but if he doesn't feel the same it would destroy everything we have.

Not to mention I would probably get my ass kicked.

"Hey, are you by any chance falling in love with Ashley?"

Peter asks over the phone and I'm snapped back to reality.

"What? Why would you think that?" I ask without saying yes or no.

"Ah, no reason no reason at all. I gotta go bye."

He hangs up and I feel a little weirded out.
