"Are you satisfied?"
I grumble as I button up my white shirt while sitting on a small bench in the closet. Jonathan finishes doing his tie in the mirror and comes up behind me.
I wince as he gently presses one of his several marks on my back and kisses my cheek.
"Very."
He continues throwing on his navy blazer as if he never attacked me.
"Hey, unlike you, I was at least considerate enough to put them in places where you can hide them." He says and I tug on my shoes.
"Sure, but I gave you one noticeable one and you gave me like sixty. How is that fair!?"
He seductively swipes his thumb against his soft bottom lip.
"Mmm, I know, My lips hurt now." he whines and I hit him in the chest.
"Your lips hurt!? My everything hurts AND I feel violated!" I yell as he laughs.
"How did I violate you when your body is mine to do as I please?"
He says and points to his black tungsten wedding ring. I stand up and put on my own blazer. Ignoring him but feeling my face get warm.
"Babe you're still looking really thin. Are you okay?"
Jonathan's face softens with concern and I shrug. One moment he's sexy as hell the next he's a sweet and concerned husband, I can really never get tired my bipolar pain in the ass.
"I'm fine."
I mumble under my breath and he crosses his arms. I roll my eyes and stand up. I was only two or three inches shorter than him but my frame was two times smaller than his.
But it's been this way since high school so I don't know why he's surprised, unless he's actually paying attention and looking at me for the very first time.
I adjust my tie and Jonathan gently lifts my chin, kissing me gently.
"Ready to be just business partners?"
He asks and I snort.
"You act like I can't kiss you behind closed doors," I wink and he shakes his head.
"Not even behind closed doors." He warns and I groan.
"Fine,"
I sigh and we walk out of the closet together.
