"Of course I told them everything! From your dick size to the type of coffee you drink in the morning,"
Johnny and Ash have been cursing each other out with their aggressive humor since before they can remember. And when Jonathan becomes a widow wi...

(Jonathan POV)
Ashley slowly opens his eyes and looks up at me, then shakes his head, unable to move.
"You scared the shit out of me. What the fuck are you? A mutant ninja? How can you move through this house full of toys and booby traps and not make a single sound?!"
Ashley whispers and I hold in my laughter.
"Well hello to you too then, maybe I should just not come home next time."
I shrug and he narrows his eyes.
"I would hit you but I fear for the children,"
he says and I come close, leaning over the arm of the couch and gently kissing him while upside down.
I stand back and start to massage his shoulders as an apology for being rude as fuck.
I'm lucky he didn't slap me.
He looks down at my kids and yawns.
"Hey Johnny, do you think we should have a kid?"
Ashley asks and looks up at me,
a strange mixture of a laugh and a cough comes out and I think I'm dying as I shrink down to the floor.
Trying to keep in the uncontrollable laughter, so I don't wake the children.
"Wow, it was an honest question but I guess I have my answer, you're such an ass." He says with a sad sigh.
I stop laughing once I realize he's serious and try to reason with him.

And lastly, Peter and I are tied for having the most kids. If I have just one more than I become the son with the largest family."
I sigh and Ash just nods a little.
"You're right, it's too much work and I'm lazy anyway. Besides, three is enough."
He says with a half-hearted laugh.
I start to feel even more guilt for laughing in his face, I thought he was kidding.
I look down at my three beautiful children and realize why he's asking.
Although he loves my children like they're his own,
they're not actually his.
"If you really want to Ashley we can talk about it more." I offer but he shakes his head.
"No, that's okay. I get it. I was just asking." He pushes it aside, then starts to giggle.
"With my energy and your ninja skills, I can imagine our infant will just be bouncing off the walls and batshit crazy, talking to itself in the corner." Ashley laughs.
I stop massaging his shoulders and sit down in front of the couch, staring into the fire.
"Or it could be an adorably sweet, compassionate, and brave little human being." I add
