*If this was a movie, I'd have this song play during their entire stay on the ice, cause I'm a sap like Johnny boy

(Ashley POV)

"You scared the shit out of me,"

I groan as I hold my head. Jonathan gets down on one knee and lifts my chin so he can examine my face.

"Are you hurt?"

He asks as he pushes my hair to the side.

"Ah, there's a small cut from the ice here, but it seems like you'll be okay."

He smiles and helps me back up.

"It's late, what are you doing here? Don't you have work early in the morning or something?"

I ask and wobble a little bit on my skates.

He reaches out and grabs my hand to steady me.

"You were missing so I came to find you. Isn't that what friends do?"

He says softly and I feel that stab in my heart again.

"You looked like you were doing a lot better than earlier."

He says as we start going again and he continues holding my hand.

It was just the two of us and the lights were beaming down on the ice. I look down to see him skating just fine,

"You fucking liar, I thought you didn't know how to skate?!"  I yell at him and he laughs.

"I NEVER said such a thing. I took figure skating lessons when I was younger, look."

Jonathan lets go of my hand and I start to wobble again.

He speeds up and jumps, spinning a circle in mid-air, and lands on one leg then turns back to me in a dramatic spin combo.

He smiles at me and I laugh,

"Fuck you, show off!"

I yell as I try to skate past him but he catches me with one arm and skates backward in front of me but holding both of my hands in his to steady me.

 "I don't get a bravo?"

He laughs and I roll my eyes.

"Jonathan Grayson, Is there anything you can't do?"

I ask sarcastically and he narrows his eyes in deep thought.

"I can't talk to animals," I shake my head. I can't believe he was actually trying to answer the question.

"I can't draw for the life of me."

 ]He says next and smirks.

Oh no.

Not the smirk

"And I can't read your mind."

He says and suddenly pulls me close to him.
