A Fallen FanFiction: Your Dark Angel (With Cam)

Chapter 18: Push Me Back

-Come on Luce. I heard someone calling my name but I couldn’t react. I had to open my eyes but I was still feeling so tired, and at the same time it felt so tiring to open my eyes.

-Luce please come back. Another voice said, a male one this time. I tried to convince myself  to open my eyes and this time I kind of succeed it.

 Above me I saw Arianne and Daniel, and as soon I realized I was lying on the cold surface of the ground the memory fold back into my head. Cam had tried to kill me, with a knife.

-How am I alive? I asked. Daniel took my hand in his and kissed it while Arianne helped me to sit up.

-I healed you. One of the angelic powers remember? She said managing to smile

-And him. She went on waving at Daniel

-Yeah. Daniel agreed and hugged me.

-I’m so sorry. I said under my breath in his chest.

-It’s okay. He replied patting my shoulder and kissing my forehead

-Can you stand? Arianne asked me and held out her hand to me.  I took it and let her help me up. When she did Daniel also rose to his feet. My stomach didn’t even bother me so she must had done an amazing job.

-Thanks. I muttered to her.

-That’s my role. She said smiling down at me

-He left after… after that. Arianne said in a low voice

-Should I take her home? Daniel looked straight to Arianne fro permission. She nodded

-Yeah. I’ll be around. She promised. Then with a quick shift movement her wings appeared on her back.  I heard Daniel taking a sharp breath when he saw them. I took his hand in mine as we saw Arianne moving her wings and flying up the sky.

 When we return to my place we slipped in as soundless as we could and went straight to my room. We curled up in my bed, my head on his chest, his hand around my shoulders and he pulled up the blanket then closed the light.

-You scared the crap outta me. He whispered in the dark

-I was scared to death too. I said surprised at how low yet scared my voice came out.

-You’re safe now, here with me. And I wont let anything happen to you. He promised me and pressed a kiss to my forehead. I shut my eyes letting the sensation of his soft lips on my forehead, it wasn’t the best thing to think about what had happened to the woods.

-You’re still here though. I said

-Yeah… And I;m not gonna leave ever again. Not after this. Not after I saw angels with my own eyes. He said softly taking my hand in his again and bringing it to his lips.

-Thanks. I said burying my face to his chest smelling his scent.

-Sleep now. It’ll help.

-My mom will kill me. I said remembering that she didn’t knew Daniel was gonna come here for a sleepover

-Don’t worry about this now. Just relax.

-Goodnight. I muttered

-Goodnight Lucinda.

 It was hard to sleep at first, but then I focused on his steady breath and the rhythm of his heartbeat under  my chest and despite myself I slept.

  The next few day was kind of normal. I  haven’t seen Cam nowhere since the event in the woods. Arianne and Gabbe were more around me than ever, even in the school. Pen was okay with Gabbe be a part of our company but of course we weren’t talking about angels in front of her. Daniel was more around too. He would come and pick me up from school sometimes even everyday and now there were no secrets between us, which made me happy that I didn’t have to hide things from him anymore.
