The next day at school I was prepared to see him. And ignore him.

And I did saw him when it was breakfast  time. I tried to ignore him and walked away but he blocked my way.

-Move. I snapped but he smirked

-Someone has new wings I heard. He mused.

-Yes. Why don’t you go over to Mol? I mocked him with my hands on my hips

-Aw, my little angel is jealous? I felt a shiver when he said ‘’my’’ but tried to ignore it when a brilliant reply come to mind.

-As you were when I told you about Daniel coming to the Halloween party with me? His green eyes narrowed at me

-Me? Jealous? Oh girly please. He waved me off

-Then what was that with Mollie? I demanded. Wrong move.

-She and I just have fun. You can join if you want. I made a grimaced of disgust  in his dirty suggestion, which made him smirked. Another good reply popped into my head.

-No thanks. I’ve had enough fun with Daniel. As soon as the words came out I realized I shouldn’t have said them. I felt the familiar heat on my cheeks.

-With Daniel? Nah I don’t think so. You had more fun with me. I was about to reply to that when he added

-And btw, I knew you were easy but that much? Sleeping with him to forget me? I gasped and he probably had predicted my reaction because when I lifted my hand to smack this cocky look on his face he caught it and not only that, he brought m closer, so closer that my body stuck to his.

-I am right don’t I little angel? I tried to break free but of course it wasn’t possible.

-Oh please go to Mollie. I said sarcastically. And then the unexpected happened. He realized me and smiled to me

-Of course I’m going sweetheart. He winked and then turned.

I didn’t  took my eyes of him, until I saw him walking to Mollie and bending down to kiss her.

I forced myself to look away. I wasn’t jealous, not even a little. I couldn’t be! And I didn’t slept my Daniel to forget him I would never do that to Daniel. Not to anyone actually.

Guess you just did. My inner voice commented but I ignored it.

Groaning in frustration I headed to class.

I kept on ignoring him the whole day but sometimes I could feel his eyes on me. I also catch myself starring at him when he was making out with Mollie. Worst day ever.

When I got back home, I ate and did my homework. I was eager for afternoon to come because then I would meet with Arianne at the forest to do our fist lesson.  And I just couldn’t wait.

At seven, I wore my jacket and took my keys of the counter and told my mom I was going to Arianne’s place.

When I met her on the forest her wings where extended and she welcomed me with a warm smile on her face.

-Hey. Ready for this?

-Yeah. I smiled and shut my eyes. It was more easy this time to pull out my wings. When I felt like someone was pulling out something from within me, I knew my wings were out, so I opened my eyes.

-Great. Now move them, like that. Her wings fluttered at first and then moved but without lifting her up.

-How? I asked confused

-Focus and relax. It’s like moving your shoulders. Imagine them move. I tried but nothing happened.

-Try again. I did. Five times in the row. Thankfully they did managed to move. Or flutter a little. Well that was something wasn’t it?
