Chapter 30: Feelings

I turned to Cam with tears in my eyes and the jerk was smiling. That’s when I snapped

-Why are you doing this to me? I screamed and more tears came. He looked at me, obviously in shock with my reaction

-Doing what?

-This! You’re acting like a jerk, then you’re sweet and then you’re a jerk again and all this with Mollie you did this on purpose just to break me up with Daniel! I realized I was shaking, probably both of the situation and the cold

-On purpose? So you think this is easy? He shouted as well

-What is ‘’this’’ Cam? Why can you just decide!

-Because it’s not my choice Luce! And of course I didn’t knew Daniel was going to come over here just the moment we were making out! He went on. The rain by now had turned into a mini storm but neither of us really cared. My hair and clothes started to get wet but now that was the least of my concerns.

-You’re a liar! You knew that! You just play with me, you have benn since the very begging, I’m just another toy of yours aren’t i? I screamed and this time I stuttered a little.

-A game? I saved you from Lucifer, isn’t this mean anything to you?

-No! Stop playing with me Cam, stop doing that! I screamed and turned to leave but he catch my wrist pulling me back.

-Let me go! I tried to break free with no luck

-Why..are..you doing..this? I demanded once again between my sobs

-Because I freaking love you! And I don’t know what to do about it with this fucking war, your daddy and Lucifer! I’m pushing you back, trying to keep you away because I thought this way it would be easier, that’s why I did what I did with Mollie! Because I want you so damn much! 

 I was stunned both from his words and the anger within them. Because I freaking love you. The sentence echoed in my head, the tears kept on coming. My clothes and hair by now as well as Cam’s were soaked with water.

-You….you..love..me? I asked in disbelief. His green eyes found mine

-Yes. He stepped closer, tracing his finger on my cheek. Under his touch I felt my skin burning.

-And I shouldn’t Luce. But I do. He said more softly now.

 I couldn’t think.  My mind was still trying to progress his words and after that it wasn’t easy at all. He loved me… he said so himself but the really question here was that if I could actually believe him after all the thing he’ve done to me.

 He tried to kill me and now.. He said he loved me? How was that even possible? 

-H..how? I stuttered. He let out a long breath and took another step toward me

-I… I think it started after the time we had together in my place. When I wanted to kill you. I kept telling myself that this was wrong and I shouldn’t feel this way but every time I was doing something to you and you, you were kissing me or well you know and i… Damn I’m not good with this. He said to himself.

-No, I want you to tell me Cam. If you felt like that why you didn’t tell me anything? I demanded, still shaken

-Because I didn’t want to. I.. shouldn’t feel like that and even when I was certain that you had feelings for me, I knew that it would lead to nothing. I’m not leaving Hell and you won’t leave heaven and your precious Daniel. It was easier to be a jerk to you, to push you away, to make you hate me rather than tell you the sentence with the 3 words and the 8 letters. He let out another long breath and glance toward the sky.
