Chapter 29: The party

 Entering the room I couldn’t really tell who was who, because everyone was wearing their Halloween costumes. The room was full with people and of course loud music.

 At the corner was the tables with foods and drinks on them and then I saw the first familiar face coming toward us. Arianne

-Hey there guys! She said, drinking some of her punch. She was wearing the costume of the policewoman and as I had imagine the first time I saw it it looked, perfect on her.

-Hey. Daniel greeted her smiling

-Where is Pen? I asked

-Over here! She rushed toward us. I smiled down at her. Her purple fairy dress she had choose was cute on her.

-Oh hey Daniel. She said noticing him.

-Hey. Glad to see you both. He then glanced at me

-Care for a drink? I nodded and after he pressed a light kiss on my forehead he headed toward, the tables to get us drinks.

-Luce you look really…

-Smoking hot. Someone cut Pen off.

 Rolling my eyes I turned, coming face to face with a smirking Cam. And God damn he was smoking hot himself! No, I interrupted myself, do not thing of him like that remember what happened last night?

 But I couldn’t take my eyes off him. He was dressed in black us always, only now, instead of a t-shirt he was wearing a suit, which was slight open in his chest, revealing part of it. His black hair were messy, and a few of them were falling into his eyes, making it hard for me to fight the urge to run my hand through them. And he was wearing a simple black mask, which made his emerald green eyes, glimmering when the light was falling in them. 

-Yep. You were leaving. Arianne cut in. Cam gave her a half smile.

-Arri. Bloody Hell, I have almost forgotten how awesome your legs was. He was actually checking her out

-Thank you. Now leave. She went on, without even flinched or blush or anything related to that when he mentioned her legs. 

 Then his attention was back to me again.

-Meet me outside later? He asked

-No way! Arianne replied for me and Cam shot her a look

-I’m not coming. I said crossing my arms in front of my chest. He arched his brow, his lips curling up in a smile

-Ever told you. How hot you are when you get angry? I was feeling the heat reaching my cheeks. Damn him and his effect on me!

-Oh you again. Daniel’s voice sounded right beside me and when I turned he gave me my drink, starring to Cam

-See? She’s with her boyfriend Cam so why don’t you go to Mollie? Arianne snapped at him. Seeing her talking to him like that, it was really hard to think they had make out once.

 Cam eyes met with mine.

-Think of what I said little angel. He winked at me, like my boyfriend wasn’t standing right beside me and turned on his heel to leave.

-What did he told you? Daniel asked me. Well I had no intention to hide the truth from him but I didn’t want him to go and pick a fight with a certain fallen angel

-Nothing worth to mention. I took a sip of my punch

-Did he just call you Arri? Pen spoke for the first time since Cam had joined and then left.

-Yeah. He just loves to piss off people that’s all. She said taking as well a sip of her drink.

-Don’t you say. Daniel took a sip as well and rolled his eyes. I went closer to him taking his hand in mine and squeezing it
