A Fallen FanFiction: Your Dark Angel (With Cam)

Chapter 22: Truth and Lies

-No! One minute I was standing alone in front of Lucifer, himself, the other, Arianne and Gabbe has landed in each side of me. I signed in relief and looked at Cam. He haven’t had taken his eyes off of me all this time. There was a sparkle in them and when he saw Arianne and Gabbe he smiled, although I wasn’t able to figure out if it was an evil smile or not. Lucifer smiled too, and that smile was definitely an evil one.

-I knew you would come. He glanced back to the fallen angels, including Cam.

-Killed  them. He said.

 Chaos followed.

The five fallen angels, lunched themselves to us.  Arianne’s hand were moving and I realized she was making the air blow, so the other angels couldn’t fly. One of them shot Gabbe with fire but she ducked in time and dodge the shot of Fire. Lucifer was standing there smile but Cam was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly in the blink of the eye I saw fire coming to my direction but someone –Gabbe- shoved me away and after she ducked again, she appear something in her hand, a stalactite and throw it in the air. This time she did, managed to find target and hit the wing of an angel who kind of lost his balance in the air and almost fall but flew up again.

-Luce get inside and find Michael! Arianne shouted as she throw a punch into someone’s face. I blinked in surprise but did as she said.

 But the door was blocked but an angel. He smiled at me.

-You’re so not getting in there. He said, but before I could even turn or anything else something hit him in his chest, an arrow, and he fell down. I glanced back, to Arianne and Gabbe to find out that now they weren’t alone. Some other angels, with white wings were by their side, they were at least 7 or 8 and all of them were fighting with the fallen one’s. I didn’t knew which one had saved me but I didn’t hesitate not even to cast a glance back. I was about to enter the room when someone graded my hand and yank me back with force.

 I tried to scream but I couldn’t because my captor’s hand covered my mouth. I’m dead, I though with my heart pounding hard against my chest.  

-I’m not gonna hurt you I promise. I just want to get you out of here. Cam’s voice said in my ear, his breath on my neck. I shivered but didn’t said a word. I wasn’t going to trust him again, I couldn’t. But he seemed to be the only possible choice to get me out of this mess, so when he turned me to him and took my hand I followed him to the woods.

 At least until Lucifer stopped us.

-Good job Cam. Give her to me. He said and I felt my heart sank. We weren’t that far from the others but we did were in a secluded part of the forest.

-No, that wasn’t our deal. Cam snapped and put his body in front of mine. I blinked in surprise. He was protecting me?

-I change my mind. Lucifer’s lips curled up in a smile, his golden eyes on me. I felt a shiver down my spine and I literally hide behind Cam. I didn’t knew his intention nor if he had a plan, but he was my only chance to survive this.

-Stay away from her. A male voice said behind us. Lucifer’s eyes widened as he looked behind my shoulder and both me and Cam spun around. Another angel was standing there, one who was strangely familiar. He was tall, his silver-white wings extended behind his back. Brown hair were falling into his brown or black eyes I couldn’t tell from that far. His eyes found mine and then he looked back to Lucifer.

-Michael… He breathed. Michael? Like the famous Michael everyone was talking about? The one who was supposed to be somewhere… So Michael was indeed in other and one of the angels had probably let him free. My… father. No I couldn’t  think of that not right now.
