Chapter 38: No regrets

*one week later*

                                             {Cam’s POV}

 One week later and Luce was still dyniyg to see Lucifer, although she was adapting very fast in our ways. I had show her even how to use fire with her eyes, and she rocked at it.  

 We were practicing almost every day, either before or after our make out session –which allow me to say, it was the best part of the day- and of course we also had sex. Which was also awesome since now, there was no boundaries between us, being together and all.

 Arianne and Gabbe would also come over to see Luce or go to her house, and even Michael showed up once. And she was happy. I could tell that from the way she was smiling at me or laughing. Gosh I loved her laugh. It seems like ages ago when I wanted and had to kill her. Now we had put that behind us.

 I was still struggling a little to adapt to this relationship thing. Don’t get me wrong I cared about her and loved her, but hey, old habits can’t just go away. Once we were out for a drink late at night and I might have flirted a little with the barwoman but to my surprise, Lucy wasn’t that mad.

 Anyway I was trying to get better. Small steps each time and all.

-Cam? She asked rubbing her leg on mine playfully

-No girly you’ll meet him. I refused drawing my leg away, causing her to groan in frustration

-But-

-It will be only about 15 minutes no big deal. He gave you one week, now you have to do your part. She knew I was right and that made her, got even more frustrated. She hated it when I was right.

-Okay but if he say anything bad I will kill him. I chuckled a little at that. Men the chick really hated him. 

 The door knocked and we both knew who was, before I stood and open the door to him

-Come in. I said. Lucifer made his golden wings disappear and stepped into the room, his cat-like eyes instantly to Luce, the new member of his clan, as he was calling her.

-Lucinda Price. He smiled at her and offer his hand, which after a few seconds of hesitation, she took and shook. I rushed over them and stood beside her.

-Hey. She muttered, her voice dead serious

-I’m very delighted to have you join Hell. He turned to look at me and then back to her

-You really love him don’t you? Luce just nodded in contraindication

-Well.. He turned to me

-And you, men I have to say that surprise me. I knew you had a thing for her, but throwing yourself in front of her? I gave a small shug not wanting to go on with this conversation. 

-So..How are you feeling being in the dark side and all? He asked her. Men I could feel her tension without even touching her, the chick needed to chill.

-Well…. Not so good that I lost my friends and my healing powers but at least now, I can be with Cam and you don’t want to kill me so…It’s good. Lucifer smiled at her in a creepy way. I knew what he was doing. He was trying to scared her off

-Who says I’m not gonna kill you? He asked her and she gasped a little

-Lucifer… I groaned. He turned to me and smile

-Did you show her how to play with the fire? He asked me getting all serious again

-Yeah a few stuff yeah. I even show her how to control it with her eyes. Lucifer nodded in approval

-Good. Keep doing that and also show her how to throw a starshot. He glanced back at her again.

-Who knows? Truces are meant to be broke sooner or later. Just know that you’re safe. I’m not gonna hurt you now and you’re allowed to spent all the time you want with Cameron. Luce just nodded

-Thhh thanks. She managed to say

-But you also need to know something. If and when the truce with the angels breaks, you will fight. I’m not your daddy to held you back for you won safety. Also, if I learn that you said any of our future plans to your friends you’re dead.

-Lucifer let her- But he held out a hand to me cutting me off. In times like these I wanted to smash him 

-I understand. She said firmly

-Good. Cameron I’m trusting you to train her well. Until then, have fun. And with that he turned his back to us while we both nodded, and walked out of the room

 We both exhaled in relief and then our eyes locked.

-Are you okay? I asked her

-Yeah..he’s no that bad when you’re on his good side right? I chuckled at her statement but I got to admit she was right.

 She floded her arms around my neck and look into my eyes smiling

-You know what? I’m not regretting it Cam. Loosing my powers and all, because…We are together now. And I love you and I know that, in your own jerky way you love me as well. She told me smiling. And damn she was right. I smiled back at her.

-I love you little angel. I do love you, it’s just…I’m trying to get used to it. Being in a relationship and all. But I do love you and I don’t know if anything or anyone can make me stop feeling this way about you. She smiled at that and I bent down placing a small kiss on her soft lips.

 For once in my whole immortal life, I was happy, and I knew that it would last.
