Chapter 31: Explanations

Next day when we woke up, it felt good like both of us knew we belonged to each other. But I knew for a fact Cam wasn’t the romantic type so I just kept this though to myself.

-Hey little angel. He told me his voice sleepy and hearse. It make my stomach tightened, seeing him right beside me, smiling to me. I could get used to that

-Hey. I replied, running a hand through his hair. He grimace and I chuckled

-Don’t  do that. He took my hand in his and then brought it to his lips leaving a kiss there. I froze. Did he actually just kissed my hand? Seeing my reaction he laughed

-Who are you? I asked making him laugh harder

-I wanna see your wings. He replied and once more I froze. He haven’t see my wings but now he wanted too. Was that a dream or something?

-Dude get over your shock. Are you always like that.? He asked as he rose to his feet and offer me his hand. 

 I took and rose as well but didn’t walked.

-Cam I had to go back home. My mom will kill me. I told him but I didn’t want to elave not no not ever. Since he said he loved me… I didn’t want to leave. I had forgotten about Daniel and everything else but I also knew I had to talk to Daniel. It wasn’t fair for him and if we were going to end it, which we will, I didn’t want to end up hating each other. Selfish I know, but we had been through a lot together.

-And if you leave I am the one who’s gonna kill you. He replied, making me laugh. My phone rang again –it has been ringing a lot since the party and of course it was always Arianne- but sometime I had to pick it up didn’t I?

-Don’t. He said, watching me walk toward it, but instead of listening to him I picked it up. Time to get done with this.

-Were the bloody hell are you? Do you have any idea how much you have freaked me out since yesterday when you and Daniel probably decide that his home is way more interesting than a party? She said, her voice rising but she wasn’t mad. Yet.

-Not Daniel. Cam. I replied and I saw his green eyes going wide. I shrugged and then his lips formed a small smile

-Cam? As in Cameron Briel? She asked in disbelief

-Yes.

 She must progressing what I just stay because for a few seconds the line was dead and all I could hear was her breath.

-Are you out of your freaking mind? Luce the guy wants to kill you and you are with him? I’m coming to get you don’t worry. She said making Cam beside me chuckled and he received a shove with my elbow on his stomach.

-No listen I.. We talked. Figure things out, he’s not gonna kill me don’t worry. I said and I heard her gasp

-Luce… You can’t do that. Whatever he said to you it’s a lie, he doesn’t love and he is going to destroy you please don’t do that. We have a big battle to prepare for. She protested but as much as I appreciated her concern, I now knew Cam wasn’t lying. 

-No. We’ll talk when I get back home okay? I told her

-When you… No no Luce please don’t- And I hang up. She was going to kill me

-That’s my girl. Cam said, throwing his hand around my shoulder and kissing my cheek.

-Whoa there big guy were are we going? I asked as we started walking

-To get dressed and then to the forest. You little angel are going to show me your wings and I gonna show you-

-Cam! I said, stopping whatever his was going to say
