Epilogue

{LUCE’S POV}

 It was perfect. Everything was perfect.  Almost 3 months after all of this had happened and finally I was able to say that I was happy.

 Things hadn’t changed a lot but they definitely had changed, starting with me and Michael. We were closer now, with a more father-daughter way and there were times that I was even calling him dad. Sometimes.  I get to know him better and he even told me about my mom, my real mom, what happened when they met even how she died. All in all we get closer, than anyone ever expect us too.

 The truce was still on so, I used to hang out with Arianne and Gabe and sometimes even Cam was with us. Gabbe wasn’t cool with that and as for Arianne I could see that sometimes she was even laughing with him. Those two were a lot alike even though, neither of them would admit it. They were stubborn. See my point now?

 And Daniel. As weird as it sounds we were totally in the friend zone now and I was even talking to him about Cam. Well not often since he was still not trusting the guy but sometimes I did. We were laughing together, go for a walk and we were friends, which made me very glad. Of course the fact that he was officialy dating Arianne helped a lot. They were just so cute when they were together, all smiles and teasing and holding hands. Cam couldn’t stop making fun of them.

 And in the end there was me and Cam. The little fallen jerk I decided to fall in love had change. He wasn’t an asshole anymore. Well sometimes, especially when we were arguing he was but not as much as when I first had met him. He was even sweet sometimes. Not the lovey-doey kind of sweet but sweet. The phrase ‘’I love you’’, was now more into his vocabulary although he used it only when we were alone. The bad thing was that, he was still flirting with other girls or checking them out, but I was patient. I knew he loved me, beside he did took an arrow to save me and I didn’t want to be an a pain in the ass, and pressure him. He was still training me and I was now used to using fire even with my eyes and throw a starshot. I was begging to look like a deadly warrior something that creepen me out but it also turned on Cam. Ha ha. Seems Cam wasn’t the only one who changed

 So things were going great. For all of us and that was a first since I met the angels, which made me really happy

 Suddenly I felt someone –guess who- trailing a path of kisses, from my neck to my shoulder making me shiver. Yeah Cam still had this effect on me.

 I smiled and turned to met his emerald green eyes, which locked with mine and look playful as usual

-I was going in for a shower and thought you might wanna join girly? He asked in a low yet sexy voice. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to me

-Maybe I want maybe I don’t. I whispered against his lips as I kissed him. He rested his hand in my thigh and open him slightly as I was sitting on a couch.

-Oh babe…We both know you’ll follow. He whispered back to me biting my lower lip softly and unbuttoning my jean. I laughed knowing what was gonna follow but I catch his hand.

-Weren’t you going in for a shower? I teased him. He chuckled a little and bit his lower lip, glancing down at my lips. Men he was driving me insane when he was biting his lip. He looked so cute, like a little child.

-Yeah. And you little angel were about to follow me. You know help me and all. He replied

-Oh I don’t know. I rather read a book. I said pulling back and catching the book in the bed table. I lay back on the bed and opened it pretending I was reading.

 As I predicted he took the book, close it, throw it and hovered above me. He was only in his jean which made the whole situation a lot more difficult. I gently rub his stomach with my hand while he start kissing my neck. 

 His hands traveled to my unbottun jean and he start taking them off of me.

-Cam..I muttered causing him to stop and look at me. I smiled

-Sometime I thing you only want me for sex. I said playfully. Cam’s green eyes met mine and then he kissed my forehead. He lift his hand to my cheek and stroke it gently.

-Haven’t you realize it yet little angel? I’m in love with you. He said and then he kissed me again, more softly this time, making my stomach do a little jolt. As I said, he didn’t used to say those thing but when he did it was sweet. He pulled back smiling with a half smile this time

-Sex, it’s just one of the i-love-you thing, privilege. I laughed at that and kissed him again

-I love you too Cam. I love you too. He kissed me then and I surrender to his kiss.

 My life had changed big time that was for sure.  Now when I was hearing someone talking about angels, all I could see was green eyes and dark wings or white wings and the powers of the elements. And I definitely didn’t knew what was coming the next day, maybe even a war, but all this time I had learn to appreciate every single second of my life and enjoy it. And being with Cam had me believing that, once we were together nothing in this world could tear us apart and that no matter what happens we will be together in this and we will fight it.  I didn’t even knew if our love was going to last forever but I did knew that now, and as long as we had each other everything will be okay.
