Chapter 37: Happy

 After I finished my small story, he was staring at me like I was some weirdo. 

-You saved him. He repeated for like the 10th time in the row.

-Again Daniel yeah. And I’m like him now. I said this without looking straight in his eyes but I knew his was looking at me

-I couldn’t let him die, Daniel. I… I exhaled pausing a little

-I wouldn’t bare leaving without him. I finally said still not looking at him

-Whatever. I’m just glad that you are ok, Luce. He said. Now I did glanced sideways at him

-You don’t care I walked over to the dark side? I asked. He smiled a little at that and then took my face in his hands. I stare into his eyes, staying very still.

-Whatever happens, whoever you choose to be with, you’ll always be my Lucinda. He whispered and for a moment he leaned closer and I thought he was gonna kiss me. Instead he let out a breath and pressed a small kiss on my forehead.

-I’m always gonna be here, remember that. He repeated softly and I nodded

-Daniel? I’m sorry. I didn’t have to say what I meant. We both knew.

-Seems like it was out of your control. It’s okay. We’re friend now.

-Friends. I agreed smiling.

-Arianne is a good girl you know. At that he laughed

-Okkk I think it’s time for you to go. 

-It’s true! She finds you cute! I went on as he was pushing me away but I could hear him chuckling

 After that I did left and on my way to Cam’s place I called my parents to say good  morning and that I was having a blast with Arianne, which was actually true only instead of Arianne it was Cam. I smiled to myself just thinking about it. My parents would kill me if they knew I spent the night with a boy. If only they knew…

 Reaching Cam’s house, I parked my car and walked over to the entrance and came to a halt just when I was about to knock due to the fact I heard him saying,

-It’s not the right time now! Not yet! In a fully frustrated tone. So I stayed were I was. Yeah I was eavesdropping ok?

-No she’s not ready yet okay? It’s already enough that she saved me and left Heaven. Yeah I know the starshot was meant for her, but I couldn’t let her die. Okay will do tomorrow, just let me…Talk to her first. There was a pause and I heard him groaning in frustration meaning I could go inside.

 So I knocked and he opened up the door to me smiling.

-Hey. He said

-Hey. With who you were talking? I asked getting already to the point. His face fell as he closed the door behind me.

-Lucifer. He replied

-Oh. Was the only thing I said.

-Yeah he…wants to me you. I know you don’t want to, but you have. I made a grimace

-Come on girly, I’ll be with you okay? He promised me placing his hands around m waist.

-I don’t want to meet him. I said. Cam grimaced and let out a long breath.

-I know he’s not your favorite person but…You have to meet him.  You’re one of us now, Lucifer is a part of you as you’re a part of him. He won’t try to kill you girly, you’re with him now. He said trying to convince me but I still didn’t want to meet Lucifer. Not yet. He tried to kill me and Cam was about to die because of him, he had whipped Cam, he had force him to kill me when Cam didn’t want to, he had destroyed Cam’s life and mine as well. I hated the guy, how am I suppose to meet him?
