Astrid's P.O.V.

I woke up and ran to my dresser. I throw the drawers open and dig around for my ripped jeans before throwing them on. I then grab my favorite blue tank top and put that on before my leather jacket. I meet Miller in the hall and we slide down the banister before hopping off at the bottom and running into the kitchen. Mom looks at us before laughing softly. I pat Stormflys back as she eats from her bowl and grab an apple. I eat it before grabbing my ax and going out the back door.

"Going into the woods!" I call before I run across the yard and into the trees.

I go farther in before finding a small clearing. I walk into the middle before going into a battle-stance-crouch. The clearing melts away and I swing the ax around, under my arms and shoulders, before ending with it at my side, behind my hip. The trees around me turn to an army on the backs of horses. I look around to find myself on a grassy mountain side. I smirk as I calculate the battle. Then, a soldier dismounts his horse and lunges for me. I flip out of his swords way, as he slashes at me, and use my ax to pull his legs from under him before digging the blade into his chest. Then, I throw my ax behind me and hear a scream of pain as it makes contact with another person. I throw it at others, killing them, before I wiggle it out of ones chest and doing a front flip off a rock and do a summer salt as I land, going into a standing position as I get ready to throw it at another soldier. Suddenly, when I'm ready to throw, the clearing comes back and I stare in shock at who's in front of me. Hiccup is standing in a gap between two trees, with wide eyes. I breath heavily as I see he has Toothless standing behind him. Hiccup opens his mouth to speak but I run in the opposite direction, towards my house.

"Astrid! Wait!" Hiccup calls. I keep running and jump over a log to stumble as pain shoots through my ankle when I land. I grunt in pain as I fall on my front, reaching down to give it a quick massage. I see Hiccup running through the undergrowth and get up, ignoring the pain as I continue to run. Suddenly, Toothless is at my side and he pounces on me, making me fall sideways and he pins me down. Man, this dog's strong! Suddenly, he is shoved off me by a growling Stormfly.

"Thanks girl," I say as she holds Toothless back and I keep running, hearing her follow after a minute.

She runs at my side as we get to the house and I dash in, slamming and locking the door before she crawls in through the dogie door, which had to be huge! I look at the clock before running outside and getting on my bike. I start it up before riding down the street. I get to school and run inside, forgetting to put my helmet in my locker. I run to class and sit in a back corner, everyone staring at me. Hiccup walks in shortly after and sits next to me. He elbows me lightly.

"You might wanna take your helmet off in class," he says and I rip it off quickly, looking at Gobber apologetically. I put it under my chair and reach into my bag for my history book, opening to a random page which, by chance, happened to be the one we were discussing.

Time skip!

I walk into the Starbucks cafe and put my apron on before taking a bunch of orders and making the drinks. I then deliver them at once and start wiping down a counter when the bell above the door rings. I turn around and see Hiccup standing behind the counter, staring at me. I sigh, "What can I get you?" He laughs before lifting the part of the counter, that folds up, and walking to the apron rack. He puts one on with his name on it and I want to scream. Instead I shrug and walk to take someones order. "Can you handle the register?" I ask him and he nods, tipping an invisible hat to me.

"Can I ask what you recommend?" the costumer asks. I lean over the counter to see the menu.

"Well, I personally like the pepper mint hot chocolate and in this weather it really warms your lungs after a run," I tell him, looking at his clothes that looked pretty sweaty. He blushes a little bit. "But, if you aren't into season classics, the chocolate and toffee coffee is also very good, or if your like me and like cold drinks in cold weather, I would say one of the frozen lemonades is your best shot because we serve that all year for some reason," I tell him, going back and leaning my arms on the counter, after brushing some bangs from my face.

"Hm. I'll try the pepper mint hot chocolate please," he says and I write it down before going to make it. I give it to him and he gives me a five dollar tip before going to Hiccup to pay. I smile after him and put it in my tip jar. "So since when do you work here?" I ask Hiccup as we wait for more people.

"Since I was old enough to get a job. You?" he asks.

"Since Tuesday," I tell him and he nods. The bell rings and I look at the door before my blood runs cold and my muscles freeze. My mouth opens and I let out a silent scream, my voice not working. Hiccup looks at me in confusion before I run to the back room, hoping and praying that he didn't see me. Suddenly, flashbacks run through my mind, so many so fast that I think my eyes and mind are gonna explode. WHERE'S STORMFLY WHEN I NEED HER?!!!!!!
