2 years later. During the Shareholders’ Meeting

“Gentlemen I am happy to announce that PSJ Corporation was able to reach its highest annual profit expectation before the year ended.” Julie announced, “Partnership with other business firms and Asian Insurance Corporations provided us a faster way to hasten our profitability. Furthermore, Influential Business Circle has put PSJ as the 5th best performing multi-functional corporation, and thanks to Brione irons.”

Everyone applauded.

“Let’s keep it up gentlemen! Just 4 levels to go and we will be able to bag the 1st place from Waldrich Corporation. Again thank you.” Julie adjourned.

Everyone stood up, and one by one, the shareholders of PSJ and Brione congratulates Julie and expressed their joy over PSJ’s continuing success.

After the meeting Julie went to Elmo’s office.

“You really don’t have the intention to attend the meeting today isn’t it Mr. Magalona?” Julie said as she barged in Elmo’s office.

“Bseeehnneeessh vorsh me.” Elmo said while eating a muffin.

“Moe, what did I told you about talking while eating?”

“But the muffin you made tastes delicious Honey. I’d rather seat here and eat all of them than to attend that boring conference.”

(Exhales and shrugs off her head) “Moe, you and your laziness… you’re unbelievable!”

“That’s talent I tell you.” Elmo joked.

“Yeah right!”

“Ahmm Honey… can I have another muffin?” Elmo begged making a childish look.

“What’s wrong with you Hon? You’re acting differently today.” Julie laughed finding Elmo’s expression adorably.

“Nothing. I just realized how lucky I am after I tasted those muffins. For 2 years Julie I really don’t have an idea that you bake and cook well.”

“Excuse me?! Mr. Magalona, I may be the queen of your life but I am not an incompetent female.” Julie joked back.

“Yeah that’s why I am very lucky.” Elmo embraced her, “Can you make me a sandwich?” Elmo playfully whispered.

“In your face Moe!” Julie wisecracked.

(Laughs) “Just joking Honey. By the way I found a good restaurant. We can dine out if you want.” Elmo suggested.

“Sure! I’ll just get my stuff in my office.”

“Okay, I’ll wait you at the ground floor.”

At Harry’s Singapore Chilli Crab

“Moe this is wonderful! How did you find this place?” Julie said with excitement.

“I found this just this afternoon while I was wandering around the place.” Elmo explained.

“So that explains why you were suddenly gone during the meeting!” Julie scolded.

“Oops!” Elmo laughs, “Julie business meetings bores the hell out of me. Besides I know you can do it. You’ve become a lot bolder and more vocal.”

“Thanks. But Moe, please lessen your absences during our meetings okay? You can’t ‘cut-meetings always. I am having a hard time defending your excuses to the pioneers. You know that they have grudges against you after what you’ve done to them remember?”
