A Tight Hold
Elmo’s POV
Should I really tell Julie about Cesare’s attempt to persuade me or should I just do things my way. Cesare’s actions are too blunt, why would he reveal such proposal straightforward? It doesn’t make sense… hold it! What if he really planned this to happen so that if I’ll tell Julie about this it might cause doubts between us or even to the whole PSJ… I was suddenly pushed near the cliffs by that old man without noticing it; worse he seems to be knowledgeable about me. Things just got serious before we knew it. I must act now.

“Moe are you alright? You were indeed present at the meeting today but it seems that you’ve been very silent.” Julie noticed.
“Sorry Honey, I am just thinking of something…”
“Moe here we go again.” Julie rolled her eyes “Why? What’s bothering you right now?” She wondered.
“Nothing.”
“Huh? Nothing’s bothering you? Come on Honey you can tell me.”
“It’s just that I am having a bad feeling about Exodus’ shootout. It is too much of a coincidence; and what is Dr. Shiller doing in that place?”
“That is also what I’ve been thinking about, but only Exodus can answer that for us.” Julie said.
“Yeah you’re right. By the way how’s your brother?” Elmo asked.
“Still unconscious but the doctor said he is already safe.”
“I see.”
Then there was silence between them.
“Julie do you trust me?” Elmo suddenly asked.
“Of course Hon, why ask?”
“I am just worried that there may come a time where my action seems to be doubtful to you.”
“Huh? Like what?” Julie got confused.
Before Elmo could have answered, his secretary entered the office and interfered their talk
“Sir Elmo, Mr. Castracani wishes to have an appointment with you at Glass Brassier, 7 pm tonight. Should I fill him in Sir?” The secretary inquired.
Shoot! Elmo thought “Julie should I attend to his request?” Elmo asked.
“Hmm? Why not? He might be a prospective client for us.” Julie suggested innocently.
“Julie after our conversation, I wanted to tell you something important.” Elmo said in a serious note.
“Okay, bring home the bacon Moe!” Julie cheered.
Julie’s POV
What was that all about? Moe’s expression seems to change today. There is really something bugging him, why would he ask me if I trust him? More importantly, why would he ask me about Cesare’s request? He hasn’t done it before in all of his previous transactions. The smiling and naughty Moe I knew for two years were seemingly changed back to his serious and cold attitude. Is this because of Louise?
