A Sorrowful Heart

At PSJ Corporation. Elmo’s office.

“Moe where have you been? You didn’t come home last night, what happened?” Julie asked.

“You ask too many questions Julie.” Elmo calmly answered.

 “Of course because I am worried about you Moe.”

“I was with Jean last night.”

“Huh? I thought you went to meet Mr. Castracani? What did you do at Jean’s place?”

“None of your concern.” Elmo shoot.

“It is my concern Moe! I AM YOUR GIRLFRIEND! WE EVEN LIVE TOGETHER NOW FOR CHRIST SAKE!”

Elmo shook his head and walked out of his office ignoring and leaving Julie inside.

Elmo’s POV

Good thing my office was sound proof. I really do not know whom to trust now, I wanted to tell Julie everything but I fear that she will just deny her involvement to my family’s death, may it be true or not. I fear that such denial will just cause more doubts in me. Damn! I can’t believe this is happening!

Julie’s POV

Moe, what’s happening to you? You’ve become bitter and cold again. Please stop with the secrets already! You promised me that you’ll be true to me, let go of your past and be transparent with me. But after last night, I can’t see you anymore. You seem changed, what happened last night? Why are you acting this way?

PSJ’s Archives Section

“Shoot! The database was disabled due to maintenance. Looks like I have to check the files manually.” Elmo told himself.

Elmo, one by one, checked all of the files that were stored 6 years before. There he saw the old transactions of PSJ some of them were memorandums while others were considered confidential that time.

“Where on earth is No.16479?” Elmo starting to sound pissed.

After hours of painstaking search, Elmo finally found what he was looking for. He anxiously took the documents that He got from Cesare hoping that such document was a fraud.

“No, this can’t be! THIS CANNOT BE!” Elmo cried.

There he saw the original corporate copy of document no. 16479. The world became heavier for him when he saw Julie’s name again in the original document. Then a series of flashbacks came into Elmo’s thoughts. All of which pertains to Julie’s efforts of letting him forget his past.

Elmo’s POV

It all makes sense now. So this is the reason why she was curious of what happened before, but at the same time, always acts evasive whenever I brought out my past. You let me love you Julie so that I may be able to forget the terrible tragedy that you have caused before. YOU KNEW ALL ALONG! You’ve betrayed me. You used my heart, now I’ll return the favor to you! You will lose everything important to you, and let you feel the pain that I’ve been bearing. I’ll bring PSJ down and burn you Julie alive! I loved you Julie but you’ve betrayed me. There is nothing more painful than being betrayed by the person you love.
