Ange and I simultaneously let out a breath of relief as we muttered, "Oh thank god." Some of them opened their mouth in protest, but never got an edge in. "We're not going to fire the first shot," Noah replied. "Uhh how about no fighting," I muttered. "Get back from the door all of you. Parrish, get these two back in their cell," Sheriff ordered. Scott walked over and we all got to barricading the doors. I noticed there was a service jammer in place, being as my cell wasn't working. The lights suddenly went out. I blinked rapidly trying to adjust my eyes without tapping into the phoenix side. "How easy is it to cut the power in the sheriff's station," Malia asked. Everything suddenly felt so much faster. I tried to bury my panic as the familiar sense of lost time crept back in. A side effect of coming back from death. "Too easy," Ange stated throwing Nolan in. I just looked at him. Everything still felt like it was sped up. Liam tensed up beside me. Nolan was begging us not to hurt him. I collapsed my sword holding TJ back. It must have been rough. She couldn't even look at him. Scott tried to calm him down.
"You're following Tamora's orders, but you don't want to be, do you," I asked. He clenched his jaw not answering, but I could see the reply in his eyes. "Sheriff," Scott stated. "He's a liar and he's sick in the head," Liam spat. "Liam he's scared. Petrified even. No less than you or anyone else in here for that matter," I defended. Ange looked between us curiously. Elizabeth would have cut in by now, but she was letting me speak for myself. Liam and TJ looked at me in betrayal. "He beat the crap out of Liam in school today," TJ fumed. "Now he's under arrest," Sheriff added trying ease some of the tension through compromise.
I did all I could to keep from pacing as I turned to them to force my full attention. "I'm sorry, I know. But if you could just get past what he did... that kid is terrified. He can't heal like we can. If Monroe were to seriously injure him or have another person do it for her, he only has a 30% survival rate at best. He could barely muster the courage to tackle someone and now he's beating people up and stabbing them. There's no way he's pulling the strings," I stated. TJ shook her head fuming. Despite her insistence on hating him there was something more complex just below the surface to her. "I'm going to get some answers," she said walking to the holding area Nolan was being taken to. "I'll talk to her," Malia said. I turned to Liam who was avoiding my gaze before turning to leave. Great they hate me.
Theo grabbed Liam and me. We were dragged to a bathroom. "Monroe's not going to stop! Those two losers in there killed hunters," Theo pointed out. "And they killed their entire pack," Liam rebuttled. "So," Theo asked, "Tamora's going to tear through anything standing between her and them. That means you, Lydia, Malia, Ange, blondies one and two, and Scott. Do you want to see your friends die," Theo demanded. He makes a sound point. An incredibly condescending delivery, but a sound point none the less. "It's Clara. My name is Clara and the other one is TJ," I muttered half under my breath. "Do you want to watch hunters murder them," Theo asked. I started to chew on my lip. I just want this to be over. I just want to go home and sleep.
I froze as Theo instigated and I covered my mouth with my hands as Liam punched Theo in the face. Liam looked to me and looked away quickly when he saw my face. "By the way, I'm still working on my anger," he stated walking out. "Good to know," Theo strained. "I'm so sorry," I muttered. Theo looked confused. "You don't know what I've done do you," he asked. "I know. Regardless that doesn't negate what just... happened. Even after what you did. You don't really seem like the same person that almost killed my sister's boyfriend," I replied. "Who's your sister," Theo asked confused. "Scott's half sister is also my half sister. I share a mom with her. Scott shares a father with her," I explained. He nodded and I walked out.
I started looking for Liam. It wasn't long before I found him by the cameras. "I don't want to talk about it," he stated. "I wasn't going to make you talk about it. I just wanted to know if you were okay," I asked. He didn't look up from the monitor replying, "I'm fine." I knew it was bullshit, but I didn't want a broken nose to match Theo. I glanced over and Nolan stood, pulling something from his back pocket, while TJ was pacing in front of Tierney and Xiang's holding cell, speaking. I saw Liam tense and I extended and locked the sword. We ran in and Liam grabbed Nolan's hand slamming him into the bars. I ripped the wolfsbane from his hand and TJ covered her mouth in shock. He would have accidentally hurt her if he had tried it.
