I followed Scott into Lydia's house. Lydia stood at her table with Allison, Ethan and Aiden. They all stared at a pile of papers on the center. I looked down. "What do you know about the Shugendo scroll," Allison asked. I looked up with a shrug. "Um, It's a scroll," I guessed. "We think it has the key to getting the nogitsune out of Stiles," Lydia shared. "We need this. No matter how the plan goes with getting him out of Eichen it means nothing if we can't get the demon thing out," Ethan added. Scott seemed hesitant. "You're right we can break him out, but if he falls asleep the nogitsune takes over again and we don't have any more lichen. If we can't get it out in 72 hours I can't gaurentee my person inside of Eichen will be all too concerned on keeping him alive if it means sparing dozens of lives," I agreed.
"Silverfinger," I asked looking to the paper. "Isaac did an arms deal with him for my dad a little while back. My dad faced the oni before, at his first arms deal, and Silverfinger was one of the only survivors. He owns the scroll and the scroll holds the secrets of the nogitsune. I think it's why my dad and Derek were framed for his murder," Allison explained. "Does anyone read kanji," I asked. They all looked confused. "Nogitsune are japanese demon foxes. I highly doubt an ancient scroll containing the secrets to an evil Japanese supernatural creature is going to be in modern english," I pointed out. "Forget that, how are we even supposed to get it with this plan. You want Ethan and I to hijack an armored vehicle," Aiden asked incredulously. "It could work," Lydia pressed. I shook my head, "I hate to say this but I agree with him. There's no way they can do it without the gaurds getting killed or them getting killed," I said looking over the route.
"What about if we set up their bikes like a crash here and block off the path. I can run out from here, bust open the doors grab the scroll and lock it back up before the gaurds ever even notice," I proposed. "That's just as risky. What if you get caught? You're the one with the highest chance to pull Stiles to the surface," Allison worried. "I just won't get caught," I said simply and held my hand up making it clear. "That's new," Lydia said as I returned it to normal. "Why can't we ask Stilinski for help," Aiden asked. "He's still being evaluated on his job performance," Lydia said delicately. "And taking the finger would be tampering with federal evidence," Scott added. "Which would not only get him fired, but arrested too," I explained. "Okay, but that doesn't answer how you're going to open the doors," Ethan pointed out. "Don't worry about it. I've done this before," I said vaguely. They all looked to me and I ignored their inquiring stares.
"But Scott, Allison, and Lydia... you guys should keep an eye out incase we get unwanted visitors or if Ethan and Aiden's acting chops aren't as good as they think they are," I added. "These bushes should act as a good blind spot to hide in," Allison said pointing to the map. "I managed to sneak a look at the departure time. They're leaving at 6:28. We have about 4 to 7 minutes to get the bikes under the bridge," Lydia shared. "Then we leave here in an hour and set a tracker on the van. We need no other vehicles under that bridge," Allison pointed out. "I need to change it's easier to become invisible if my clothes are uniform," I explained. "I'll bring you by the house and we can meet up at the station," Scott offered. "Sounds good to me," Lydia agreed.
I walked down after changing. "You hear from Isaac," Scott asked. "Not since last night no. I'm sure he's fine. The giant knows how to stay out of trouble," I reassured. I walked back down in all black and pulled my hair into a braid. Scott was in the kitchen staring at his phone. It hadn't hit me how much he had grown up until just now. The frown and worry lines etched into his face. The bright optimism had been replaced with a deep contemplative thinking. I walked over and pulled him into a hug. He stiffened confused. "It's going to be okay. We got this. We're the McCalls remember. Nothing can beat us," I said into his shoulder. He hugged back seeming to relax. "Thank you," he said quietly. "Let's go meet the others," I said letting go.
