Key x Reader (fluff)

"Are you sure you called?" you asked Kibum while checking the clock on the wall.

"Of course I did. He probably got lost or forgot or something," he answered and sighed.

"I should call him. Just in case," you said at that and got up to go and get your phone. You gave c/n (girl) to Kibum and headed towards your shared bedroom. Just as you grabbed your phone from the nightstand, you heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll go!" you yelled and ran out of the bedroom, past Kibum and to the door. Excitedly, you opened the door and smiled to Taemin who seemed exhausted, but smiled back.

"Where were you? You were 40 minutes late," you asked after closing the door behind Taemin.

"I'm sorry, I got lost. I didn't quite remember where you live," he answered while taking off his shoes.

"You should've called us," Kibum suddenly said and stood up to walk over to you.

"I didn't want to call in case c/n was sleeping," Taemin answered and turned his eyes to c/n. "Hello!" he said with a cute voice and booped her nose gently.

"I made coffee, it should still be warm. Do you want some?" you asked.

"Sure, if it's not too much of a burden," he smiled thankfully. You nodded and went to search for a cup.

In the meantime, Kibum and Taemin headed back to the living room and sat down on the couch.

"She's always a bit fearful of strangers, so don't be sad if she doesn't want to be with you," Kibum chuckled.

"It's okay," Taemin answered while letting the girl play with his fingers, "I think we'll get along pretty well."

Then, you came back with a cup of still warm coffee. You placed it on the table and sat on the armchair, tucking you legs under yourself.

"So, how is your solo stuff going?" you asked Taemin.

"Good, everything is going as planned so far. I want it to be perfect, so it will take a lot of time, but I'm okay with that," he said and reached for coffee. After taking a sip, he placed it back on the table and turned back to c/n. You were watching how Taemin played with her with an adoring smile.

"It's really something that she's playing with you like that. Do you want to hold her?" you asked, turning to Taemin. For a second Taemin looked scared.

"Oh come on! She's not going to bite you," you laughed. Taemin shrugged and took c/n carefully. She didn't even start crying. If anything, she seemed really pleased to reach for Taemin's hair and pull it.

"Ow," Taemin laughed and took her hand. You glanced at Kibum and saw him with a serious face, which made you smile.

"Jealous?" you asked, teasing him. Kibum lifted his head and looked at you, but didn't say anything.

"Yes, I was talking to you," you laughed.

"What? It's just weird that..." Kibum started.

"Nah, you're jealous," you teased and walked over to him. You sat down and wrapped your hands around him.

"Taemin, what do you think about babysitting c/n in the future? She seems to like you a lot," you asked, almost as to add petrol in the fire for Kibum.

"Y/n, honey, I don't think that she would like to be with him the whole day," Kibum said, looking at you.

"You're so jealous that c/n is so friendly with Taemin. She sometimes isn't that friendly even with you," you chuckled.

"Really?" Taemin lifted up his head.

"Shut up!" Kibum exclaimed in a nagging tone and pulled you into his arms while you laughed.
