"Remember the way you make me feel?" - Tori Kelly

Jungkook's POV

*Beep* *Beep*

My eyes shoot open hearing my alarm go off. I'm breathing hard and sweating a bunch. Those dreams were just nightmares of her...I don't think it was such a good idea to come back here.

I get up and shuffle to the bathroom to take a nice hot shower. The water's heat helps relax my muscles making me feel calmer and my thoughts drifting away from Jazmine. I can already smell my mother's breakfast, which makes me get out of the room sooner than I expected.

Rushing downstairs while putting my shirt on and zipping up my pants, I greet my mom giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"How'd you sleep?" She asks with a look of concern on her face.

"I slept alright," I reply knowing that was true and false.

"Well...that's better than horrible," she says before smiling.

"I made pancakes. Thought you might want something little different," she adds referring to all the Korean food I had eaten in Seoul.

I smile at her and fill my plate with pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

"We forgot to pay the fee for parking in the school's parking lot, so your cousin, Jae-Sun will be picking you up in like 10 minutes," she says and smiles.

Jae-Sun is a year younger than I, 17 years old. He has blonde hair...yes...like the Sun. He's one of my closest cousins in America and anytime we visited, he was the first person I wanted to see.

My brother comes downstairs rubbing his eyes before shoving his hands in his pockets lazily.

"Morning umma~, Jeongguk," My brother says.

"Morning," I respond.

He ruffles my hair and sits in the seat next to me, stealing a piece of bacon.

"You ready for your big day?" He asks, with his eyes half-closed.

"Big day?" I chuckle. "I'm a bit nervous, I'll tell you that...you know...to see my friends and my English is a bit rusty."

"You'll be fine Kook. You're a smart kid, well... forgetting math," He laughs at the end of his sentence.

Rolling my eyes and smiling at him, I continue to eat my food.

The doorbell soon rings and Jae-Sun comes busting through.

"HEELLLLLOOOOO FAAAAMMILLYYYYY!!!" He yells at the top of his lungs.

My mom gives him a look. "If you're going to ring the doorbell, at least wait for somebody to get it," she says scolding him.

"Sorry, I was just so~ excited to see my favorite cousin," he singsongs.

He takes three long strides towards the kitchen table and grabs several pancakes. He puts one pancake in his mouth and tilts his head back, grabbing the syrup and squeezing it in his mouth, eating it.

"Yah!" my mother yells, sticking her finger in his face. "What did I say about doing that? Who taught you to eat pancakes like that?"

"Jasmine Adams," Jae-Sun responds bluntly.

They both look at me slowly right after he finishes saying her name. I smile at them both, showing my teeth so they know I'm okay. I really don't want them thinking that I'll have a mental break down hearing her name. Jae-Sun rubs the back of his neck and chuckles.
