"Jungkook, look across the street," She said.
She watched him furrow his eyebrows and look at her shocked. She waved at him with the hand that had the box of paper hearts which caused his face to soften.

Ms. Kasongo stared us down after she watched us climb out of the backseat of the car. I avoid her heated glare to prevent myself from melting under her gaze. She taps her foot rapidly against the pavement, waiting for one of us to speak up.
"Can you tell me what's going on?" Ms. Kasongo asks.
Jungkook and I look at each other and quickly avert our gazes.
"I was comforting her," Jungkook replies.
I fight the urge to burst out laughing. Yeah, he comforted me...
"Really?" Ms. Kasongo says with disbelief running in her eyes. "I wasn't born yesterday. I was your age at a time too."
I purse my lips in a thin line at the most common phrase adults love to tell kids when they are being scolded.
"It's not what you think Ms. Kasongo. We didn't...you know," I reply.
"I'm sure, but this is not okay. I'm aware of your guys' sleepover last night and the rumors running amongst the team," she says before rubbing her temples in frustration. "Be aware that you guys can get in a lot of trouble for this."
I nod my head in response.
"Because of this incident, I will be checking everyone's rooms tonight to make sure everyone is in their designated rooms," she finishes before walking away from us into the restaurant.
Once the door closes, I turn to look at Jungkook. He's biting at his bottom lip and his eyes are wide open. His right hand grips the back of his neck while the other plays with the hem of his shirt.
"Your nervousness gave us away, Jungkook," I chuckle.
His eyes dart to mine before dropping his arm to his side.
"Sorry...it's just this hasn't happened to me before," he responds almost too quiet for me to hear.
"Really?" I deadpan.
"Yes, why? This isn't your first time?" He asks while hardening his gaze on me.
"Nope. This has happened a few times with me and Josh, but we were doing less rational things than what happened in the car," I reply.
Jungkook's eyes narrow at me before his tongue pokes at the inside of his cheek.
"Oh." Is all he says before gesturing for us to head into the restaurant.
Jungkook and I sit next to each other at the long table across from Alex and Stacey. Alex smirks at both of us.
"So--" Alex starts, but I cut him off by putting my hand up.
"Don't," I respond before looking down at the menu to find something to eat.
I decide on getting "The Walking Ched" which is a deep-fried mac and cheese bun burger with bacon, onions, and cheese. I also get the "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" milkshake. I am well aware that I'll get a stomach ache if I finish it all, but I really don't care because I'm a hungry bish.
