Jasmine's POV
The more Jungkook and I spend time with one another, the quicker the days go by. Each day felt like hours, each hour felt like minutes, each minute felt like seconds, and each second felt like milliseconds. Before I knew it, it's the senior's last day of school, June 2nd, and graduation day is coming up.
I lean against my locker as I wait for Brianna to come. I look at my phone and see that I received a message from Jungkook an hour ago.
♥️🍪My Kookie🍪♥️: Sorry, I left school early today so I can't drop you off at home [1:00 pm]
Me: It's alright 😩. I'll just drop by [2:00 pm]
"Hey, cutey!" Brianna says.
"Hey, cutey," the deep voice said.
I bring my hand to my head and drop my phone in the process.
"What the h*ll, Joshua. Let go."
"Why? Your little boyfriend's not here." He responded.
I elbowed him in the stomach as he whimpered, but he still refused to let go of me.
"Argh! What do you want?" I groaned.
"What? I just saw you sprint out the door so quickly. What happened to that happy energy?" He playfully asked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Did you get stood up by Kook?" He asked.
His voice sounded serious and not as playful this time.
I didn't answer and he swiftly turned me around.
"Oh, baby girl, don't look at me like that."
"You still didn't answer my question," I said crossing my arms. "What do you want?"
"Please let me take you on a date today. I'll leave you alone after that," he said shyly.
"Fine. But after you drop me off at Jungkook's house." I said with a sweet smile.
"For real? Awesome! I'll drop by your house at 6:00," he replied before giving me the cutest smile.
My head throbbed the more I began to remember the memory of Josh taking me to his red 2015 BMW 3 Series and driving me to Jungkook's house. I remember arriving there and Mrs. Jeon telling me that Jungkook went back to Korea.
Someone touches my shoulder making me flinch back into the lockers. Tears flow from my eyes like a leaking faucet after recalling the memory. The difference between this time and the previous times I recalled memories is that I am not forgetting about it.
"Jasmine?" Brianna says.
My vision clears up and I look into her glassy brown eyes.
"Are you okay?" She asks.
She rubs my shoulder and gives me a slight pout.
"No," I crack out.
She hugs me and rubs my back. I lean into her touch and place my chin on her shoulder.
Damian is behind her with a slight frown on his lips. When he notices me looking at him, he gives me a smile that doesn't reach his eyes.
Brianna let's go of me.
"It's the last day of school, girl, you should be happy," she says. "And don't forget that we'll be roommates at the University of Illinois at Urbana."
