"Wet mascara"
- Tory Kelly
Jungook's POV
The boys tease me about Jasmine's expression during the dance practice. Although it looks like she was out of the camera view, she actually wasn't. When we reviewed the dance before doing it again, we see her eyes bugging out in the corner of the dance room.
"Jungkook, you got her all flustered," Jimin says with a chuckle.
They kept bringing out the comments and such while Jasmine stood next to me looking lost as if her soul was out of her body.
I can't help grinning at her flustered behavior, especially when she picks at my t-shirt to unstick it from my stomach. I hold her hand to my stomach, loving her feeling shy under my gaze. Her hand lays flat against my core.
"J-jungkook," she stutters out while attempting to release herself from me, but I refuse to lose her touch.
I pull her closer to my body and look at her under my eyelashes.
"Did you like the performance?" I ask her.
She swallows and nods her head quickly enough to give her whiplash.
"That much, baby, that you can't say it?" I ask her while bringing her flush against my body.
"Yes," she squeaks out.
It's usually Jasmine getting me all shy, but the roles have reversed and I am enjoying every minute of it.
"Which one was your favorite?" I ask her.
I just want her to admit that she was amazed by "Blood Sweat & Tears" because I even saw her frozen form at the corner of my eyes.
She peaks up at me and mumbles out, "the one where you put your hands up."
I chuckle at her cuteness.
"That one is called 21st-century girl," I respond. "But, I don't think that's it. Are you sure it wasn't the last one...Blood Sweat & Tears?"
She averts her gaze from me and turns her hand to the side. "It was okay," she says like it was the most boring dance she has ever seen in her life.
I raise an eyebrow at her. "Really? Then would you be okay with me doing a couple more times until it's good?" I ask her.
Jasmine leans back from me and gives me a quick smile before shaking her head.
"That will not be necessary, Kook. It's a little after six and your other guests will be coming over soon. I think we should help Jae-Sun," she responds before attempting to bolt out of my grip.
I let her go and she heads out the door in a haste. I shake my head at her retreating form. I would chase after her, but I'm sure I have tortured her enough. I gather my belongings before following her trail out of the room and upstairs to take a quick shower.
When I am finished with my shower, I head to my bedroom, surprised to find Jasmine on the floor with her legs crossed. I walk in, closing the door behind me, trying not to make a sound. The floor creaks below me as I walk over to my dresser to take out clean clothes. I look over to her still form. She remains on the floor and doesn't acknowledge my presence.
I head back to the bathroom puzzled by her behavior. Did I fluster her that much during my dance? I wasn't planning on breaking her like an unresponsive robot. I lather the cold lotion onto my body as I think of things to say to her that will shake her out of whatever trance she's in.
I return to my bedroom and look at her from the door. It looks like she hasn't moved. Is she even breathing?! I don't see small motions indicating that she's breathing.
