Jasmine's POV

"And if he gets fussy, please don't hesitate to call." Vanessa said while placing Sebastian's diaper bag on the coffee table. Lin had placed the portable crib in our room so we could watch him better. Pippa was busy walking around showing Sebastian the pictures on the wall that he pointed to.

"I promise he'll be in good hands tonight." I smiled.

"I think that's everything..." Lin said while smoothing out his jacket. Both of them went to say goodbye to Sebastian and then left. Pippa was distracting Sebastian, but he still got fussy when he realized that his parents were gone.

"It's okay." Pippa cooed. He kept whimpering in her arms so I took him from her and walked with him.

"Hey, you can't cry." I laughed. "It's bedtime." I smiled. He let out his little bottom lip, already learning how to pout. How cute. He did stop whimpering though. I carried him into our room where it was a bit darker instead of well lit. "It's sleepy time." I said while placing him in his crib. He looked around at the new walls and looked back at me. I gave him a small smile and watched him start to fall asleep.

"Is he getting close to falling asleep?" Pippa whispered while peeking into the bedroom. I nodded and held a finger up to my lips. She nodded and walked back down the hall. It was already late, so thank goodness he was already tired. After a few minutes of me waiting, I figured he was already asleep, so I walked back out into the living room and saw Pippa watching tv with the volume turned down low.

"He's asleep, but just barely asleep." I said while sitting on her lap. She smiled and pressed her lips on mine. "Pip..." I whispered.

"He's asleep... It'll be fine." She mumbled. I frowned and felt her lips on my neck. I let out a little moan and felt her lips form a smile. "You have to be quiet, he's sleeping." She whispered.

"Then we can't do this..." I laughed. "We can catch up after Lin and Vanessa pick him up. That way we can go uninterrupted." I said while poking her nose. She groaned and placed her hands on my hips. "I know, I know. This wasn't exactly how you wanted to spend Valentine's night... But we're helping someone continue their love life."

"I know... I just really wanted today to be special." She said while rubbing my legs. I smiled and hopped off her lap. "Where are you going?" She frowned.

"Bed. I'm already tired." I laughed. She smiled and went back to watching tv. When I got back in the room, Sebastian was fully passed out and I couldn't help but smile. I changed into my pjs and climbed into bed, shortly after, Pip walked in and shut the door behind her. She was already in her pjs which made everything easier for her.

"He's cute when he's sleeping. Well, he's cute when he's awake too, but you know." She said while tying her hair up. I smiled and watched her climb into bed with me.

"Thank you for today." I smiled.

"I should be thanking you! You did that cute spread for us and all I did was get you a necklace." She said while pulling me close to her.

"It was a gorgeous necklace." I smiled. "But seriously, I didn't think that you would do anything since you were so disgusted towards Valentine's day decor at the stores." I laughed.

"I was disgusted at their prices. Tomorrow I'm going back and buying all the discounted chocolate I can get." She smiled. I rolled my eyes at her remark since I knew how she was on finding a bargain. Which made me love her even more since she went out of her way to buy two of the most expensive things I own... The necklace and my engagement ring.

"I know." I whispered. "It's sleep time now." I said quietly.

"Goodnight." Pippa whispered.

"Goodnight." I smiled. I rolled myself over to my stomach to get more comfortable and felt Pip's hand on my back. I couldn't help but feel so happy that she was here. None of this was a dream, nothing was fake. We loved each other so much...

~~~
"Was he good?" Lin asked.
"Great." I smiled. Nothing was great. He woke up screaming at three in the morning and didn't go back to bed until a few minutes before they got here. Which was now seven in the morning. Pippa was passed out on the couch and I felt like I had rocks tied to my ankles.
"So no early morning wake up calls?" Vanessa laughed.
"Well... Just one..." I laughed sheepishly. She smiled and gave me a hug.
"I can tell. We're so sorry. But we really owe you." Vanessa smiled.
"It's okay. He was good after we calmed him down. Just wouldn't fall asleep." I said. Pippa sat up and looked around at everyone in the living room.
"Wonderful to see you're alive." Vanessa laughed.
"How long have I been out here?" She mumbled while rubbing her neck.
"You passed out around five-thirty... Holding Sebastian." I laughed at her. "So I got him out of your arms and took him back into the bedroom. " I finished. She frowned and continued to rub her neck. She did fall asleep in the weirdest position... I felt bad so I guess I'll have to fix that later.
"Thank you both so much." Lin said while hugging me. "I would hug Pip, but it looks like she's going to fall asleep again." He pointed. She was sitting back in the couch with her head on the back of the couch. Her eyes were already closed too.
"It's fine. She knows you're very grateful." I said quietly.
"If you guys ever have kids, we'll be more than happy to watch them for you." Vanessa said while holding Sebastian. I nodded, keeping that in mind. I wouldn't mind having kids with Pip. And now that we had someone who would watch them while we celebrated something, I could actually see it happening more and more now.... I couldn't help but feel both giddy and nervous at the same time... Giddy because I was going to be married in a few months, able to start a family with her whenever we had the time, and be so incredibly happy all the time. Nervous because everything was moving so quickly. What if I wasn't a good enough wife to her? What if I couldn't do anything right with her? Things were great now, but what if they go downhill?
I walked Lin and his little family out of the building and smiled at them. They were such a happy family when they were with each other. Everyone seemed happy with one another and I wanted that. I really did.
