Jasmine's POV

"How much longer do we have to wait?" Diana whimpered. I looked up at Pippa and saw her shoulder shrug. No one really knew how much longer we had to wait. But we were sitting in the doctor's office waiting for everything.

"I don't know sweetie." I whispered.

Pippa and I had set everything up ahead of time, maybe about a month ago. But we added the rest of everything over the span of a couple days. Got the right mattress, crib bumper pads that had little cars designed on them, even a little swing with a cute little monkey mobile on it.

"I'm getting nervous..." Pippa whispered.

"Me too." I said while reaching over to hold her hand.

"Alright, sorry to keep you waiting." The doctor said while walking into the office. "I had another patient that was a bit on the more difficult side of everything." He smiled. Pippa and I stood up to shake his hand and Diana just looked away. "This must be your other daughter. Hello." He smiled while looking at her.

"Hello." She whispered.

"Anyway, do we want to see him now?" Doctor Bernard asked.

"Yes, please." I smiled. He led us out of his office, taking us to the nursery area. Diana held Pippa's hand while we walked, looking around at everything as we did so. I held onto Pippa's free hand, wishing that my nerves would calm down.

"Alright, here we are. And there he is." He pointed at the little baby. He was laying in the third row and fourth little incubator in the room.

"He's perfect." I whispered while leaning into Pippa's side. We watched a nurse walk over and lift him up from his little bed. She walked out with him and up to us. The doctor gave her a nod and handed him over to me. "He's beyond perfect." I smiled, tears starting to spill from my cheeks.

"I wanna see him too." Diana whispered. Pippa lifted her up and I couldn't believe everything right now. It was too perfect for me. "He's all squishy." Diana giggled.

"Because he's a baby." Pippa smiled. "You were like that too once." Pippa whispered.

"How do you know?" Diana asked her.

"Because I know everything." She whispered.

"Does the little man have a name?" The nurse asked.

"He does." I smiled. "Micheal James." I said while looking at Pippa. She nodded in agreement while we watched the nurse write it down. We approved the spelling and she walked away to finish the birth certificate. "Our little Micheal." I cooed.

~~~
"When will he be old enough to play?" Diana asked while looking down at Micheal in his swing.
"Maybe in about a year. Right now he's still really little and really fragile." I explained to her.
"I have to wait a year for him to play?!" She gasped.
"Yes. And even longer if we can't get him to sleep tonight." Pippa laughed while shaking a bottle. "Here you are my lady." She said while handing it over towards me. "And you have to get to bed or else you'll be too cranky for school in the morning!" Pippa laughed while scooping up Di.
"Mama!" She giggled. "I'm not tired!" She laughed.
"Not tired?! What do you mean?!" She said while walking towards her room. I shook my head at their personalities and knew that Pippa was just crazy when she said that she was worried about Diana. Everything was going to be fine with us. I looked back at Micheal and smiled down at him. He had his eyes open and looking around the room.
"Hey baby." I whispered while lifting him up from the swing. "I can't wait for you to get older." I cooed while giving him his bottle. "But at the same time I want you to stay this little forever... You're going to love it here." I smiled.
~~
"Do you think he'll be fine in here tonight?" I frowned.
"He'll be fine." Pippa reassured me. "We have the baby monitor set up and everything will be fine." She smiled. I looked down at the sleeping baby in the crib and I frowned at her. "Fine. You lift him up. I'll drag the crib in our room." Mentally I felt so much better, but I knew we were not going to sleep at all tonight now.
I carried Micheal into the bedroom and laid him on the bed with me while we waited for Pippa to drag the crib in. I felt terrible for leaving it to just her, but she insisted. Multiple times. After thirty minutes, she finally got the crib inside and I laughed a bit with how exhausted she looked already.
"You look so tired." I smirked.
"Oh hush." She huffed. "Alright. Is this good?" She asked while adjusting it in the corner.
"Perfect." I smiled. I lifted Micheal back up, careful not to wake him up again, and walked over towards her. "Do you think he'll be alright? You know when he gets older?" I asked while setting him down in the crib.
"I think he'll be fine. The doctors said he's a happy healthy baby." Pippa whispered.
"I hope so. I don't want anything terrible to happen to him or Diana. Both of them are my little angels.." I frowned.
"I know, they're mine too. As are you. I don't want anything terrible happening to you either." She said while placing her hands on my shoulders.
"I don't ever want anything to happen to you either. I still remember when you got the flu that one time during rehearsals and I thought you died." I laughed, remembering the memory.
"You always jump to the worst possible thing that could happen." She said while dragging me into bed. "Just try and relax a bit before you get worry lines again."
"Again?!" I gasped.
"I'm kidding." She laughed quietly. "Now, let's just sleep before we have to wake up in an hour to feed our new child."
"Alright." I said while laying down next to her. "I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too." She said while leaning closer to kiss me.
