Jasmine's POV

I was engaged!!! I couldn't believe it!! And all before our first official Broadway show. I sat in my dressing room reading through fan mail that was dropped in here and I couldn't stop smiling. These fans were so nice to us.

"Is everyone ready yet??" Lin yelled. He was only partially dressed so none of us really took it to heart about how fast we had to get ready. That and Leslie only got ready five minutes before the show actually started.

"Yo, get ready!" Leslie yelled. I looked up and saw him already in the costume.

"How long till curtain?!" I gasped.

"About thirty minutes. We're gathering for a preshow photo!" He smiled. My nerves were already on edge, and of course he had to heighten them by doing that. I got into the first dress and really didn't want to take off my ring.

"Attack!!" I heard people yell. All the girls for the show had burst through my dressing room door and tackled me into a hug.

"Let us see! Let us see!!" They asked. I held out my hand and giggled like a little girl. They squealed over the ring and began talking all at once.

"Wait!" Ariana gasped. "Who's last name? Are you going to keep yours and she takes yours? Or are you going to take her's or what??" She asked. All the girls went quiet and I hadn't really thought of that...

"I don't know... It's also like we're not getting married tomorrow either... So, we have time to think of it." I shrugged. I thought about it. Jasmine Soo? It sounded nice, a whole lot less to write of course. But my mom didn't take my dad's last name... So I guess we wouldn't have to change it if we didn't want to.

"Well, we'll support either one. Because we love you both." Carleigh smiled at me. I felt myself beginning to tear up again, and got engulfed into a giant hug from everyone.

"Alright let's go take this picture before people flip out that half the ensemble is gone." Betsy laughed. I was the last one to leave, since I wanted to make sure my ring was going to be safe where it was at. Pippa met up with me in the hall and we walked hand in hand up to the stage.

"Are you happy?" Pippa asked quietly.

"Beyond happy." I smiled.

"Good. I like it when you're happy." She grinned. We took our preshow picture with the rest of the cast and I couldn't wait to start already.

All of us were changed and ready to party when the show was over. We had to pose for pictures of course, I decided against showing off the ring and hid my hand from view whenever I could. Pippa decided to let me take it off and hide it in her bag while we partied.

"Are you happy that she finally popped the question?" Lin asked me.

"Oh yes. I wish I was wearing the ring, but we don't want anyone to know just yet." I frowned. "Just you guys." I laughed. Lin nodded and was swept away with his wife. They were such a cute couple. I found Pippa chatting with Groff and headed over towards them.

"There she is!!" Groff screamed. I laughed at how excited she was and felt Pippa's arm go around my waist. "They happy couple to be!" He grinned.

"We already are a couple." I smiled while looking at Pippa.

"Please let me administer the wedding." He pleaded.

"You really want to?" Pippa asked. He eagerly nodded and looked at us with puppy eyes. I shrugged and looked at her. "I mean, it'll be one less thing to find..." She laughed.

"Alright Groffsauce. You can." I smiled. He squealed and hugged us both. I was happy to have someone so close to us do something like this for us.

"Jonathan!" We heard someone call. I looked over and saw a guy walking over toward us and he definitely looked like trouble... "Who are your lovely friends?" He asked.

"This is Phillipa and Jasmine." He smiled. "Girls this is Steven." He introduced. "He's been a friend of mine for years." He laughed quickly.

"Phillipa Soo?" He asked Pippa.

"Yes. That's me." She answered.

"I've seen your work. You're amazing." Steven flashed a smile and I felt her grip on me tighten. "So is this your friend...?" He asked while pointing at me.

"I'm her girlfriend." I said while wrapping one of my arms around her. Pippa nodded and pulled me closer into her side.

"Oh, my apologies.. I didn't know." He smirked. He gave me the weirdest vibe ever. But he was Groff's friend... So I had to be nice.

"Um... We'll catch up with you later Jonathan. We're going to go see where Andrew ran off to." Pippa said while pulling us out of an awkward conversation. "Did he give you the creeps too?" She asked me.

"He did... Completely ignored me there and just stared at you like you were some piece of meat." I growled. She frowned and rubbed my arm. "I'm sorry, but I just didn't like him." I sighed.

"I know. Let's go have fun now." She smiled.

~~

By the time we had gotten home and changed from our dresses and cleaned our faces from the makeup, we were already too exhausted to even move in bed. I didn't know how long it took Pip to fall asleep, but I knew that I was out like a light. Until my alarm went off the next morning. I woke up with a million different notifications on my phone and I tried to filter through the feed for important ones. I had texts from my parents, both asking if I had liked my surprise. I sent them the video of Pippa asking me to marry her and they immediately responded back with heart emojis and the typical 'awww' texts. I looked back at my sleeping Pippa and couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
