Pippa's POV

Jasmine and I danced for a bit before the places call. I was laughing at the steps she had to do while I just did my own little thing. It was my last show and I was going to have a little break for a bit until I started my next show. I was asked to do Amelie, I knew so much about the show already since I had to tear myself in two deciding to continue Amelie or pursue Hamilton. Thank goodness I chose Hamilton. I caught myself a wife with it.

"And step." Jasmine laughed while guiding me through her steps.

"Gosh. This is hard in these dresses." I laughed. She nodded in agreement while we danced.

"So how's the married couple?" Chris asked while interrupting us.

"Great." I smiled. Jasmine laughed and put her arms down just to hold our hands together. "When she's done with Hamilton we're gonna take a well deserved vacation before we can't." I smiled.

"Yes. Dead winter vacation." She winked. "Can we go someplace warm?" She pouted.

"Of course. Why would we go someplace cold." I laughed.

"You guys are cute. By the way, I heard that you're going to be doing Amelie! Great job landing that!" He smiled while patting my back.

"I was with it before. But chose Hamilton over it. Now I'm going back. I miss my awkward role." I shrugged. He nodded in understanding then left to his place onstage. Jasmine wrapped her arms around my waist while we waited for our turn to walk out. Boy this was going to be hard. It was mine, Leslie, Lin's and one of the ensemble girls' last show. I started thinking of all the memories I made here, most of them really good, very little of them were horrible. But all in all, I had a good run here. My dressing room was packed up and practically cleaned out already since Jasmine and I had been slowly packing up all week and bringing home items that didn't need to be there anymore.

"Let's go out there and make this show the best show you've done." Jasmine said before giving me one of her 'good luck' kisses.

~~~
I was crying, the audience was crying, everyone was crying. It was just like opening night all over again. Tears, but instead of happy tears, they were happy trails tears.
Fans that knew of me leaving tonight bombarded me with farewells at the stagedoor. Some even crying because they felt very lucky and honored to have seen me play this role so well for so long. I felt so grateful for them. They were too much at times, but they tried to mean well.
"You were so great tonight!" A girl squealed.
"Thank you." I smiled while signing her playbill. I moved onto the next fans and was asked the usual, pictures to be taken with them, gifts to be given, random questions about life.
"You and Jasmine are the cutest couple ever. So happy you two got married!" Another girl smiled.
"Thank you." I felt like I was saying that a lot. It was just becoming so robotic for me to say now. Thank you for coming, thank you for saying I'm a cinnamon roll, whatever that meant, and thanks for cutting me off in the bike lane looser. Of course I tried not to use the last one as often as I did... I saw a woman holding up a little girl holding her playbill tightly. I smiled at the little girl, getting her to give me a huge practically toothless grin. "Well hello there!" I smiled.
"Say hello." Her mother smiled.
"Hello." She giggled quietly.
"Did you like the show?" I asked her. She nodded quickly, almost losing her playbill in the process. I couldn't help but feel so happy with this little girl in front of me. "Well I'm glad. Who was your favorite?" I asked her.
"I like Eliza!" She smiled. "My favorite color blue." She giggled.
"I like blue but it's not my favorite." I smiled. "Do you want me to sign your playbill?" I asked her. She nodded again, holding out her playbill for me to sign. I signed quickly and handed it back to the little girl. "Here you go!" I smiled.
"Thank you!!" She squealed. "Mommy! Look!!" She gasped while shoving the playbill in her mom's face. I couldn't help but laugh at the cutest sight ever, while walking down the line to sign more playbills.
When I got back inside, I went into Jasmine's dressing room to find her reading some fanmail that she had gotten.
"People are so nice." She said while putting some letters on her desk. "How were the fans?" She asked.
"Good. There was a little girl out there who was really excited to see me." I smiled. "Kids are cute when they're well behaved like that." I said while sitting on her vanity table. She shrugged while going through more of her mail. I glanced down at her hand, noticing her wedding ring again. I smiled at myself. She was mine. All mine! I saw mine and couldn't help but let out a little giggle.
"What are you laughing about?" She asked me.
"Just so happy I put a ring on your finger before anyone else could." I said while letting my fingers graze over her hand. She flipped her hand over letting our fingers intertwine with each other. "I'm going to miss seeing you everyday like this." I frowned.
"You still can. No one will stop you." She laughed. "But I know you deserve a break. It's really tiring doing this and I know you're completely exhausted. Hence the whole few month break you're gonna have soon." She said while planting a kiss on my knuckles.
"I know.. I'll probably lounge around all day. Bored out of my mind without you." I sighed. "But at least I'll get to see your face every night when you come home." I let out a smile, getting her to smile. Gosh I loved her smile. It made me feel so warm and great on the inside. I really was going to miss her so much.
