I was happy once too
My life complied of beautiful things
Each moment a cloudless day
Each dream bigger than myselfBut now I see it not
The beauty merely a haze
Sun turned to moon
The days made up of rain
The light in my eyes faded
All my happiness turned to painI felt alone
Without a shieldI felt
I felt so heavily the loss of light
The loss of hope
It threatened to consume me
Destroy me in all its glory
And it wonThe happier me awaits behind lock and key
Only she'll never be set free
