wanted so bad to make you mine
but all i did was hurt you
then heard you lie and say you're fine
i cant figure out what's wrong with me
how can i love you and fail to make it clear
this storm is breaking everything
and i can't stand to not have you near
all this distance is killing me
and all this silence is deafening
forget everything i said
come lie with me instead
let me take back everything that i regret
let's go back in time and just forget
hold me while i cry
and i'll explain to you that it's all a lie
i never meant to hurt you like this
and all i think about is the lips i wish to kiss
how did we end up here
with you nowhere near
i never meant for it to end this way
i just wish you'd wanted to stay
we'll make everything okay
and go back to love one day
