Quickly before the sound of the cuckoo bird
By these strings we are all bound
Drip drip
Goes the rain within myself
Away i hide my heart on a dusty shelf
Drip drip goes the rain
Drip drip stop the pain
Drip drip goes the rain
As I hang my mask for the world to see
A tear of platinum gold
I press my ear to the door
Not caring to find the key
I watch that tear fall to the ground
Hopefully I'll be able to sleep safe and sound
Under the cages set by myself
I watch and await for someone to help
The time ticks away
No hour did the hand ever keep
You failed to see my wounded cheek
My eyes holding tears
As I locked up all my fears
Drip drip
Goes the rain within myself
Away I hide my heart on a dusty shelf
