we make the world seem ugly
so our beauty shines through
and we do it willingly
because deep down we're all broken
we all have invisible scars that cause us more pain than is imaginable
but we have a horrible way of handling the unspoken
in an attempt to heal wounds
we create false ones in the world
simply cuz it makes us feel
like we're in control
