hello stranger
dark and foreboding
the night is your mask
the sun your enemyyou hide it well
the mark you've been given
the symbol placed permanently at you heart
and in your mindbut i am the sun
your greatest foe
i stripped away your mask
and left you exposed on the floordo not fret
for i am warm
and slowly burn away at the symbol in your mind
and on your heartyou hid it well
but all masks come off at sunrise
and away shall break your shellgoodbye stranger
for now i hold your mask
and shall never return it
