i want to scream "i love you" in your stupid face
that would relieve all the pressure on my chest
but that'll never be the case
i want to tell you "i love you" and watch your smile light the room
that would bring me so much joy
maybe i'll say it soon
i want to whisper "i love you" at 3 am as you're falling asleep
and i just might
for only 3 am will let me know for sure
if i've truly fallen in love with you
i might do it one night
when the time is right
and it no longer feels like a never ending fight
