in every moment we've shared
but i showed you i cared
i heard the words you've said
"a beautiful mess
never any less"
now you're staring at me cold
eyes no longer bold
a hallow mold
where'd we go wrong?
our screaming hours long
like a chaotic song
for a moment only dark
what happened from here to there?
how'd we break that chair
what happened between us?
have i lost your trust?
our relationships fully rust
your crying's on my nerves
you're screaming "it's not fair"
but why would i care
i said you were a princess in a tower
brought every type of flower
but now i watch you as you cower
i never cared a single bit
but you only realized when it went to shit
i've forced you to be trapped with me
claimed to be your savior as i built that tower
i locked you up and threw away the key
i think now you finally see
only now it's too late to be set free
